Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Lead the Ss to chant on P59 by clapping hands. 3. Revise the dialogue of Let’s talk. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Present Zoom’s home and say Welcome to Zoom’s home! How many desks/ chairs… do you see? Then ask How many… do you have? 2. Show a picture of balloon and teach the word balloon by playing the high low voice game. 3. Show some balloons on the screen and ask How many balloons do you have? I have… 4. Main scene A. Show the picture of the main scene on the screen, then listen the tape and follow it. B.Look at the picture of the Main scene and try to make new dialogues. 5. Show the picture of Start to read on the screen. Ask the Ss to read and match. 6. Check the answers with the Ss by presenting the right answers on the screen. 7. Ask the Ss to repeat the sentences on the screen group by group. 8. Do exercises. Ask the Ss to turn to P63 and read the sentences carefully and then circle the numbers. 9. Have the Ss copy the numbers from eleven to twenty. 10. Have the Ss copy the numbers from one to ten. Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1. Read the numbers group by group. 2. Do exercises Say the sentences according to the situation. Step 4 Summary & Homework 1. Present the key words and sentences of this lesson, then repeat and explain them again. 2. Give a minute to recite the words. 3. Homework Make a new dialogue of your life. |
