Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Count from 1 to 10. Let’s do for reviewing the numbers. 3. Enjoy the song: One ,two, three... 4. Say the telephone numbers on PPT. 5. Show some things on the screen, then Ss count and answer the questions How many ...s? as quickly as they can. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Require the Ss to watch the pictures on the screen and ask the Ss to make a respond by saying How many pears do you see? I see eleven. 2. Present a picture of eleven, then teach the word eleven. 3. Divide the class into boys and girls group to have a race on reading the word eleven then praise the group who read better. 4. Use the same way to present the words twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen. 5. Play the high-low voice game to practice the words twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen. 6. Stress the key sentence How many…s do you see? I see … by using the clapping hands game. 7. Lead the Ss to practise them in pairs. 8. Invite some Ss to read the numbers in the front. Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1. Do the exercise I can do. 2. Fill in the blanks according to the pictures. Present some pictures on the screen. Ss watch, fill and read How many... do you see? I see ... To help the Ss to know the special form of fish. 3. Make a new dialogue according to the table. 4. Watch the flash of Let’s chant and then repeat. Step 4 Summary & Homework 1. Present the key knowledge of this lesson and explain them again. 2. Do homework. Make new sentences by using How many …s do you see? I see…. |
