Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Play the Magic eyes game to revise the comparative degree of the words bigger, smaller, stronger, thinner, heavier. 3. Ask and answer according to the key words. Step 2 Presentation & Practice
C. Check up for them and find out the main words or sentences. 2. Ask some of them and say What are you going to buy? I am going to buy a pair of shoes. 3. Present the PPT, lead out the sentences and emphasize. Those shoes in the window are nice. Let’s have a look. 4. Present I have a new pair of shoes. My shoes are size 38. What size are your shoes? Guide them to say the sentences. Board the sentences. 5. Emphasize some usages about the sentence patterns. 6. Listen to the tape. Ask them to answer the questions. 7. Repeat and read the dialogue by themselves. And then try to recite it together. 8. Act out the dialogue in pairs or in groups. Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1.
