Lesson 3 They are having lots of fun.
一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
(一)知识目标(Knowledge aims)
能在文本语境中听懂、会说、认读、拼写单词people, women;能听懂、会说、认读单词和短语:themselves, enjoy themselves, follow, come over, lots of 并能结合句型灵活运用。
(二)能力目标(Ability aims)
能听懂、会说、认读句型:“Some women are singing Beijing Opera near the lake. Some old men are doing Taijiquan under the tree.”能用现在进行时的陈述句形式描述他人正在进行的活动。
(三)情感目标(Affective aims)
让学生初步了解中西方社区的不同,培养学生的跨文化交际能力。

三、教学过程
Step1: Warm-up
(1)师生口语交际,复习前面学过的核心句型。
如:Where do you live?
Do you like your stay in ...?
What’s in your neighbourhood?
(2)两人一组运用上述核心句型自由交际。
Step 2: Presentation
1.快速阅读文本。
(1)T:Where are the people? 教授 people
(2)Ss:They’re in the park.
(3)T:Are they having lots of fun? 教授lots of
(4)Ss:Yes,they are.
(5)T: They are enjoying themselves. 教授themselves
2.再次阅读文本,两人一组讨论教材Let’s discuss部分的问题。
(1)T: What are the women doing under the tree?
Ss:The women are singing Beijing Opera.
T: Jenny tries to follow them. 教授follow
(2)T:Where are the people doing taijiquan?
Ss:Some people are doing taijiquan near the lake.
T: Andy wants to learn it.
(3)T: Is Andy learning kung fu from Danny?
Ss: Yes, he is.
T: Andy comes over and follows Danny. 教授come over
- Listen and repeat.模仿跟读,注意语音语调。
Step 3: Practice
1.小组展示课文的朗读。
2.根据关键词复述课文:Sunday morning, in the park,enjoying themselves, singsing Beijing Opera, doing taijiquan, do kung fu, lots of fun.
Step 4: Production
完成Let’s write部分。活动步骤如下:
(1) 自己思考独立完成小短文。
(2) 找学生台前展示,并核对答案。
四、作业设计
1. Read P44 for 3 times.
2. 设计公园的一角(主要凸显人们的活动),并运用本课所学的语言介绍。
