    Step 1

    Warm up

    Have students look and say :

    1. Look at some pictures about famous places in China and talk :

    ①Which interesting places in China have you visited ?

    ②Have you ever seen the Great Wall ?

    ③Have you ever visited another country ?

    2. Work in pairs

    Ask the students to make dialogues with partners according to activity 4.

    Where you went. . . 

    When you went there. . . Why it was special. . . 

    1. Look and say :

    Look at some pictures about famous places in China and talk :

    通过看图片回答问题, 引导学生回顾上节课的内容并引出这一课的相关内容。

    通过对话练习, 也能从句子表述中考验学生对Unit 1现在完成时知识的掌握程度, 还训练了学生的反应能力。并在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。

    Show students some pictures about pyramids,  check and teach the new words.

    Read fast and answer the following two questions quickly.

    ②What languages have Mike and Clare learnt to speak? 

    2. Skimming(略读)

    Read fast and match the main ideas with the paragraphs. (快读并匹配段落大意)
