形容词、副词的比较级和最高级
概述： 英语中的形容词和副词常用三种形式来表达事物的等级差别，即原级、比较级和最高级。 比较级主要用于两者之间作比较。 最高级主要用于三者或三者以上进行比较。
1．形容词比较级的句型结构
(1)形容词的比较级＋than＋比较对象。前后相比较的两个事物一定要属于同类，而且作比较时，一定要避免自身与自身相比。表示一个范围内两事物比较，用“比较级＋than＋any ther＋单数名词”。
如：He is mre careful than any ther student in his class. 他比班上任何一个学生都认真。
(2)as…as…意为“与……一样……”，其否定形式为“nt s/as…as…”，意为“不及；不与……一样……”。
它们也是一种表达比较的形式，注意as与as之间要用形容词或副词的原级。
比较级前可以用much，a little，a bit，even等修饰。
如：The shes are a little bigger fr me. 对我来说，这双鞋有点儿大。
【注意】当比较级后有f the tw…之类的短语时，比较级前要加定冠词the。
在选择疑问句中两者进行比较，常用句型：Which/When/Wh＋be＋形容词比较级，A r B?
3．形容词最高级的句型结构
“主语＋be＋the＋形容词最高级＋in/f＋范围”表示“在某范围内最……”。
(1)形容词最高级前通常要加定冠词the。但前面若有物主代词、指示代词或名词所有格等修饰时，不能用定冠词the。
(2)形容词最高级常与介词in或f引导的短语连用，与in连用意为“在……内”，表示“在某范围内”，不一定是同类；与f连用表示“属性”，介词后的名词或代词与句中的主语是同一类人或物，意为“在某一类中”。
