The Passive Vice
一.主动语态和被动语态
英语动词有两种语态,即主动语态(The Active Vice)和被动语态(The Passive Vice).
主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者,被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。如:
Bell invented the telephne in 1876.
The telephne was invented by Bell in 1876.
The lcal newspaper interviewed him.
He was interviewed by the lcal newspaper.
结构:“助动词be+及物动词的过去分词”.
助动词be有人称、数和时态的变化,其变化规则与be作为连系动词是完全一样。
I am asked a questin by the teacher.
He is asked a questin by the teacher.
be 的人称变化
The desk is made f wd.
The desks are made f wd.
be 的数的变化
The tall building was built last year.
The tall building is being built nw.
be 的时态变化
三.含有情态动词的被动语态
结构:“情态动词+be+及物动词的过去分词”.如:
The trees may be planted in spring. The rm must be kept clean.Teenagers shuld be allwed t chse their wn clthes.
1.当我们不知道谁是动作的执行者时。

2.当没有必要指出谁是动作的执行者时。

3.当只需要强调动作的承受者时。
