Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Lk and say
T: Tday we will learn anther twn called Starlight Twn. Let’s see what it was like in the past and what it is like at present.
T: What can yu see in the picture?
2. Read and guess
Read Part A1and Part A2, and try t make a guess. We may guess the answers t blanks 4 and 5.
3. Listening tips
Shw sme listening tips befre listening.
Step 3 While-listening
1. Listen and cmplete Part A1
(1) Play the recrding fr the first time. Remind the students t use the listening tips.
(2) Play the recrding again if necessary.
(3) Students read Part A1 alud t check answers r chse tw students write the answers n the blackbard.

(1) Read Part A2 and guess the missing wrds.
(2) Listen t the recrding and fill in the blanks.
