初中阶段学过的状语从句主要有时间、条件、原因、结果、比较、目的和让步状语从句。
知识点 1 时间状语从句 1. 引导时间状语从句的连词有 when，while，after，befre，as sn as，till，until，since 等。 2. 在时间状语从句中，若主句用一般将来时、过去将来时，则从句需要分别用一般现在时、一般过去时。 3. 在由 when 和 while 引导的时间状语从句中，如果从句动词是延续性的，when 与while 可通用，但如果动词是非延续性的，则只能用 when。
知识点 2 条件状语从句 1. 条件状语从句由 if，unless 等引导。 2. 在条件状语从句中，若主句用一般将来时，则从句用一般现在时。
知识点 3 原因状语从句 1. 原因状语从句主要由 because，as 等引导。 2. because 表原因时，语气最强，表明最直接、最重要的非推理的原因，用来回答以 why 引导的问句。as 表原因时，它所引导的从句常放在主句之前。
知识点 4 结果状语从句 结果状语从句主要由 s… that…，such… that… 等引导。
知识点 5 比较状语从句 1. as…as…，s…as…，than 等引导比较状语从句。 2. as…as… 和 s…as… 后面都用形容词或副词的原级。常见结构为“as/ s+形容词或副词原级+as”，意为“和……一样”。 3. as…as… 既可用于肯定句又可用于否定句，但 s…as… 只用于否定句。 4. 由 than 引导的状语从句，than 之前要用比较级。
知识点 6 目的状语从句 目的状语从句的引导词有s that，in rder that等。
知识点 7 让步状语从句 让步状语从句由 althugh，thugh，even if，even thugh，whatever，n matter what 等引导。
