S2:I climbed the muntains with my friends.Did yu have a gd weekend?
S1:Yes,I did.I went t the park with my friends.
S2:What did yu d there?
S1:We played games and flew kites.
S2:What will yu d next weekend?
S1:I will g t help at the Old Age Hme.What abut yu?
S2:I will plant flwers in my garden.

Grup wrk:Ask the students t wrk in grups and discuss what they did last weekend.After a few minutes, ask sme grups t make a reprt in frnt f the class.
Grup 1:Jim went t climb the muntains with his friends.They saw many kinds f flwers and trees n the muntains.They saw much water n the muntains.They tk many pictures n the way.Kate and her friends went t help at the Old Age Hme.They helped the ld men clean the rms.They had a party fr the ld men.The sang and danced.They had a gd time with them.

1.Shw the students bjects r pictures and learn the new wrds and expressins in this part:everybdy, weekend, myself, taught, delicius, camera, have a great/gd weekend, take a bus,fresh hme-made dnuts, next weekend, climb a muntain, muntain climbing, play games.Shw a picture t the students.Pint t the picture and ask:
T:Is everybdy here tday?
S1:Yes.
T:Very gd.Nw read after me “everybdy”.
S:Everybdy.
T:What are yu ging t d next weekend?
S2:I am ging t the museum.
T:Nw read after me “weekend”.
S:Weekend.
2.Ask the students t make sentences with the new wrds and phrases.
S3:These are fresh hme-made dnuts.Wuld yu like sme?
S4:Yes,please.Mm…They are delicius.What are yu ging t d next week?
S5:I’m ging t climb the muntain.
S6:Hw will we g there?
S7:Let’s take a bus.
S8:We will take cameras with us.
Give the students chances t make sentences r make up dialgues.
Step 3.Practice
1.Ask the students t retell the e-mail.
2.Ask the students t write an e-mail abut what they did last week and what they will d next weekend.Every grup chses the best t read in frnt f the class.
When the students are writing, the teacher shuld walk arund and give them advice.
Step 4.Cmplete Let’s D It!
Exercise 1 is used t practice the students’ listening.Let’s finish it in class.We have finished Exercise 2 in reading part in class.Ask the students t finish Exercise 3 in class.Teacher checks their answers in class.
