Step1: Lead-in
Enable students to do a warming-up activity.
(Show pictures to ask the Ss to watch if a pair of pictures is the same. 展示图片,通过找不同的方式进行different 和same的练习)。
Step2: Presentation
1. Work out the rule
(1).Lead students to work in groups and find out all the rules.(提示学生注意的关键点)
(2). Help students to work out the rule.(用实例引导)
(3). Show the pictures and ask students to make a dialogue in pairs.
2. Explain the grammar
(1)like 可作介词,意为“相似;类似”,用于名词或代词之前,表示相似性。如:
The girl looks like her mother.
(2)The same as 意为“(和……)同样的事物,相同的事物”,可用来进行比较。如:
This book is the same as that one.
(3)different 后面一般用from,意为“(和……)不同的事物”。如:
This hat is different from that one.
注意:
由于like是介词,the same as 和different from 是形容词短语,这些表达方式通常跟在系动词 (如be, look, seem, smell, sound, taste等) 后面。

- Grasp the usage of same and different.
- Grasp the same as ,be different from.
- Like, the same as and different from can be used with such link verbs : look ,seem, smell, sound, taste.
