Step 2. Grammar 反身代词的用法 反身代词与它所指代的名词或代词形成互指关系,在人称、性别、数上保持一致。在句中一般作宾语、表语、同位语,不可单独作主语。 1 作动词或介词的宾语: You shouldn’t leave the child by himself at home. 2 作表语: I am not feeling myself today. 3 作同位语时,译为“本人、本身、自己、亲自”: Mary herself opened the door. 反身代词的易错点 1 反身代词不能单独作主语,但可以作主语的同位语,起强调作用。 (误)Myself can finish my homework. (正)I myself can finish my homework. 2 反身代词表示“某人自己”,不能表示“某人的东西”因为它没有所有格的形式。表达“某人自己的(东西)”时,须用one’s own. (误)I am drawing with myself crayons. (正)I am drawing with my own crayons. Step 3.
