一、知识目标

【精讲点拨】

1. I take after my mother.

take after 指的是“（在外貌性格方面）与……像”, look like“长得像,看起来像”，（只指外表）。

2. I’ve run out of it.   

  run out of 意为“用完，用尽”= use up

3. I give it away.

give away 表示“捐赠”，如果宾语是代词，必须把代词放在中间, 如：give it/them away. .

4. I’m similar to her.

be similar to意为“与……类似”。

5. 动词短语的用法：

(1) 动词+介词的动词短语，后面常接名词、代词、动名词作其宾语，该名词、代词、动名词必须放在介词的后面。如：Jack’s friend looked after him well when he was ill.

(2) 动词 +副词的动词短语，后面可以接名词、代词或动名词作其宾语。接名词时，该名词可以放在副词之后，也可以放在动词和副词之间；接代词时，该代词只能放在动词和副词之间。如： I give it away to one of my friends.
