We all have t learn hw t stp wasting ur valuable water. One f the first steps is t develp ways f reusing it.
Tday in mst large cities, water is used nly nce and then sent ut int a sewer system（下水道）. Frm there it returns t the sea r runs int undergrund strage tanks. But it is pssible t pipe used water t a purifying（净化）plant. There it can be treated with chemicals s that it can be used again, just as if it were fresh frm a spring.
But even if every large city purified and reused its water, we still wuld nt have enugh. All we’d have t d t make use f the vast reserves（贮备）f sea water in the wrld is t remve the salt.
If we take these steps we’ll be in n danger f drying up.
