一、 Warm-up
1.火眼金睛Read quickly, 快速读出出现的单词.
2. Revisin
1). 教师出示一图片问Wh is he? 学生回答He is Zhang Cun. 教师问What’s he like? 学生回答He’s shrt and ld. 然后复习单词ld.
2) 教师出示一图片问Wh is he? 学生回答He is Xia Xin. 教师问What’s he like? 学生回答He’s very funny. 然后复习单词funny.
[设计意图]出示学生们喜闻乐见的图片可以大大激发他们的学习兴趣,有利于学生完全投入到课堂活动中来。
3. Free talk
教师说出班里几个同学的名字,学生描述该同学的性格特征,进而复习描述人物的相关知识,为后面的学习作铺垫。
T: Can yu tell me what is Wang Yi like?
S: She is shy.
T: Can yu tell me what is Li Mengzhen like?
S: She is quiet.
[设计意图]创设实际情境,描述自己的同学,引出本节课的话题,巧妙地帮助学生复习相关词汇和句型,激活学生关于人物性格或外貌特征知识的背景图示。
二、呈现新课(Presentatin)
1. Learn new wrds
T: Tday we will learn sme new wrds t describe what’s a persn like.
1).学习plite
图片展示,直接教授单词plite,同时加上句子Is he plite? Yes, he is.
(意图:通过图片展示,直观地教授新单词,并把上节课的句子应用于本节课中,上下衔接,注重新老知识的结合应用。)
2). 学习helpful
图片展示,然后老师问: Is she plite? Ss: N, she isn’t.
T: S what’s she like?
Ss:…
T: She’s helpful. S fllw me.
(方式: 通过上节课的句型Is she..?引出本节课的句型What’s she like? 及回答She’s…. 意图:通过设置这个情节,用旧知识引出新知识,同时引出要学习的新单词,让学生进一步巩固旧知识,而不至于唐突地引出新知识。)
3). 学习shy
图片展示: T: Lk at this by. Is he helpful? Ss: N, he isn’t. T: S what’s he like? Ss:… T: He’s shy. S fllw me, shy.
纠音: shy/ ʃaɪ/
(意图:让学生进一步熟悉本节课的新句型What’s he/she like?及其回答,同时让学生了解shy的发音。)
4). 学习hard-wrking
图片展示: T: Lk at this by. Wh is he? Ss: He is Wu Yifan. T: Is he shy? Ss: N, he isn’t. T: S what’s Wu Yifan like? Ss: He’s hard-wrking. T: S fllw me, hard-wrking.
(方式:通过fast reactin的游戏让学生操练单词,并在小组中交替练习。)
5). 学习clever
方式也是通过图片展示,在教授单词的同时运用高低音的游戏让学生操练本单词。
[设计意图]书通过不断的学习加深对单词的印象,从而达到对单词的掌握。
2. Let’s learn
1).教师用多媒体课件出示本部分的教学挂图,并简单介绍情景。进而让学生再度复习所学的新单词。然后教师领读对话:What’s Wu Yifan like? he’s hard-wrking. 让学生两人一组练习句型,注意练习时可换人物及性格特征进行对话。 最后学生分小组分角色朗读,并上台表演。
2).Gd thinking. (通过选词填空呈现meaning)
(1). Zhang Peng ften gets 100 in the test. He is ______.
(2). Tm reads bks every day. He is ______.
(3). Amy ften helps her mther clean the rm and ck ndles. She is______.
(4). Ann is a little girl. She is quiet. She is ____.
(5). Tm is friendly. He ften says hell t us. He is _____.

[设计意图]让学生根据句意选出相应的单词,帮助学生对shy, plite, helpful, clever, hard-wrking五个新词meaning的理解。
3). 教师总结本节课所学单词,学生边看边读。
4. Play a game. 通过游戏的方式复习新单词。
三、Match and say
1. 教师出示课本上的图片问What are they like? 学生回答They are hard-wrking.
2. 教师出示课本上的图片问What is he like? 学生回答He’s plite.
3. 教师出示课本上的图片问Whatis she like? 学生回答She’s shy.
4. 教师出示课本上的图片问What are they like? 学生回答They are helpful.
5. 教师出示句子, 让学生齐读,单独读。
He is plite./ She is shy. / They are helpful. /They are hard-wrking.
6. 教师出示图片,让学生两两一组练习句型,并说出人物的性格及特征。

7. Pair wrk
1).模仿,两个人一小组,谈谈我们的同学或朋友。
2). Talking abut…看西游记里面的人物图片,讨论他们的性格特征.
