二、形容词的“平级”比较
1.as+原级形容词+as
（1）肯定形式
She is as beautiful as her mther （is）.她和她的母亲一样漂亮。
I am as interested in English as yu （are）.我和你一样对英文有兴趣。
He is as handsme as his brther （is）.他和他哥哥一样英俊。
The girls are as busy with their wrk as bees.这些女孩子就跟蜜蜂一样忙着工作。
（2）否定形式
She is nt as beautiful as her mther.她不像她母亲那样漂亮。
She is nt s beautiful as her mther.
（3）as ...句式的修饰语必须置于第一个as之前。
（nt）nearly almst just nthing like exactly nt quite

He is just as tall as his father.他刚好与他父亲一样高。

This dress is twice as expensive as that.这条连衣裙比那条贵一倍。
2.as+原级+名词+as
（1）as+原级+a+单数名词+as
He is as nice a by as Peter （is）.他和彼得一样都是好男孩。
I have never had as tiring a day as tday.我从未像今天这样疲惫过。
This is as gd an example as the ther is.这个例子和另外一个一样好。
【比较】 她和她妈妈一样是位好厨师。
①She is as gd a ck as her mther.（as ）
②She is such a gd ck as her mther.（such ）
（2）as many+可数名词复数+as
Yu’ve made as many mistakes as I have.你犯的错误和我犯的一样多。
She has as many friends as Mary （des）.她和玛丽一样有许多朋友。
（3）as much+不可数名词+as
We have as much snw this year as last year.我们这里今年下的雪和去年一样多。
She has as much mney as I （have）.她有和我同样多的钱。
（4）as +名词
as many as+数词＋复数名词 多达…… as much as+数词＋不可数名词多达……
as lng as+数词＋名词 长达…… as wide as+数词＋名词 宽达……
as high as+数词＋名词 高达…… as early as+数词＋名词 早在……
as late as+数词＋名词 迟至……
She has as many as seven sisters.她的姊妹有七人之多。
I gave the beggar as much as 1，000 yen.我给了那乞丐整整一千日元。
I have been learning English （fr）as lng as 15 years.我学英文已有十五年之久。
He came hme as late as tw in the mrning.他迟至清晨两点才回家。
The river is as wide as 100 meters.这条河宽达一百米。
I mailed the letter as early as Friday.我早在星期五就把信寄了。
（5）as 常用短语
as pssible/ne can 尽可能的/地 as usual/befre 像往常一样
as many/much as 多达；和……一样多 as lng as ...只要
as sn as 一……就 as far as 远到
3.“同级”比较级特殊句式
（1）+形容词＋as+（同一形容词）＋can be
His failure is as plain as plain can be.他的失败是再明白不过了。
He is a persn as wise as wise can be.他再聪明不过了。
He is as handsme as （handsme）can be.他潇洒极了。
She is as kind as can be.她极为和颜悦色。
Mary is as hardwrking as can be.玛丽的用功不输任何人。
（2）as+形容词（+名词）+as ne can
T speak English fluently，yu had better read as many English articles as yu can.
要想把英文讲得很流利，你最好尽量多看英文文章。
We had better learn by heart as many sentence patterns as we can.
我们最好尽可能多背句型。
Take as much exercise as yu can.尽可能多做运动。
Be as careful as yu can.尽可能小心。
（3）主语+系动词+the same as/similar t
This bk is the same as that ne.这本书和那本一样。
The chairs lk similar t thse in the rm.那些椅子看起来跟房间里的椅子相似。

1.比较级+than
（1）than 句式中必须用比较级
Peple in the cuntry are happier than peple in the city.乡下的人们比城市的人们更快乐。
It is clder this year than （it was）last year.今年比去年冷。
Sue is mre beautiful than Jane.苏比珍更美。
The cmputer is mre expensive than the typewriter.计算机比打字机贵。
【比较】
①Which is the mre useful （metal），irn r gld？ 铁和金，哪一个比较有用些？
②Irn is the mre useful （metal）f the tw.铁是两者中比较有用的。
（2）比较级的修饰语
a bit，a lt，a great deal，a little，by far，even，far，much，rather，slightly，still，yet，
倍数，分数，百分数以及数词等；
The rm is a bit larger than that ne.这个房间比那个稍大一点.
This is a great deal better than that.这个比那个好多了。
They’re a little better nw.现在他们稍好一点儿了。
It’s slightly clder tday than it was yesterday.今天比昨天稍冷一点。
Tday was even clder than yesterday.今天比昨天还要冷。
Let’s g by car.It’s much cheaper.咱们开车去。这样便宜得多。
He is fat，but his brther is still fatter.他很胖，但他哥哥更胖。
China is ne-sixth larger than the United States.中国比美国大六分之一。
This restaurant is rather mre expensive than that.这家餐厅比那家贵得多。
There are far mre peple than we expected.人比我们预计的多得多。
She is by far the better actress.她是个更好的女演员。
【提示】
①rather可以修饰比较级，但fairly不能；
②very不能修饰比较级，但much和very much可以；
③by far 可以修饰比较级和最高级，前置时要在定冠词之前。
2.“mre ”句式，意为“是……而不是……；与其……不如……”
She is mre wise than diligent.与其说她勤勉不如说她聪明。
I was mre disappinted than discuraged.我是失望，而不是泄气。
He is mre a sprinter than a swimmer.他是短跑健将，而不是游泳选手。
I am mre frightened than hurt.我吓坏了但没有受伤。
3.“n+比较级+than”句式，对比较的两个对象进行否定
n better than=as bad as 与……一样不好
n earlier than=as late as 与……与一样迟
n faster than=as slw as 与……一样不快
n taller than=as shrt as 与……一样不高
He is n cleverer than her.他与她一样不聪明。
He’s n richer than a beggar.他穷如乞丐。
He is n taller than me.他同我一样不高。
His English is n better than mine.他的英语同我的英语一样不好。
Yu are n mre careful than he is.你和他一样不仔细。
He is n mre generus than Jhn.他和约翰一样不大方。
【比较】
①I have n mre than ten dllars.我只有10块钱。（n mre than 仅仅）
②I have nt mre than ten dllars.我最多也不过10块钱。（nt mre than不超过）
4.“the+比较级，the+比较级”句式，意为“ 越……就越……”。
The lder we grw，the prer ur memry will becme.年龄越大，记忆力越差。
The mre careful yu are，the fewer mistakes yu will make.
你愈小心，你犯错就会愈少。
The mre I learn，the less I feel I knw.学而后知不足。
The better the by （is），the mre I like him.这男孩愈好，我愈喜欢他。
The clder the weather （is），the mre cmfrtable my life （will be）.
天气愈冷，我的生活就愈舒服。
The mre haste，the less speed.欲速则不达。

5.“比较级+and+比较级……”句式，表示“越来越……”
（1）-er比较级+and+-er比较级
She is grwing fatter and fatter.她越来越胖了。
Things are getting better and better every day.情况一天天好起来。
The days are getting lnger and lnger.白天越来越长了。
（2）mre+and+mre+原级
It’s becming mre and mre difficult t find a jb.找工作越来越困难了。
English is becming mre and mre imprtant.英语越来越重要了。
One reasn is that the tickets are mre and mre expensive.原因之一是票价越来越高。
6.特殊“超过”句式
be senir t 比……年龄大（类似于be lder than）
be junir t 比……年轻（类似于be yunger than）
be superir t 比……优秀（类似于be better than）
be inferir t 比……差（类似于be wrse than）
I am five years senir t Jane.我比简大五岁。
Jane is five years junir t me.简比我小五岁。
This cmputer is superir t the ne yu bught.这台电脑比你买的要好。
This pht is inferir t that ne.这张照片比那张差。
形容词的句型三：最高级的用法
一、最高级的用法
1.三者或三者以上的比较：通常含有in，f介词短语或定语从句表示范围
Autumn is the best seasn in Beijing.秋天是北京最好的季节。
She is the mst intelligent girl in the whle schl.她是全校最有才华的女生。
Jhn is the cleverest f all the bys.约翰是所有男孩中最聪明的。
This is the best film that I’ve ever seen.这是我所看过的最好的电影。
He was the greatest musician that ever lived.他是世上最伟大的音乐家。
【提示】 形容词最高级前要加定冠词the，用不定冠词时，表示“非常”。
It’s a mst useful bk.它是一本非常有用的书。
2.“ne f+the+最高级+复数名词”句式，表示“最……之一”
This is ne f the best televisins n the market.这是目前销售的最好的电视机之一。
That was ne f the strangest incidents in my life.
那是我一生中所遇到的最奇特的事件之一。
Friendship is ne f the greatest pleasures that we can enjy.
友谊是最大的乐趣之一，我们可以尽情享受。
She is ne f the mst beautiful girls in ur schl.她是我们学校最漂亮的女孩之一。
【提示】 amng ...相当于ne f ...。
Rme is amng the greatest cities in the wrld.罗马是世界上最伟大的城市之一。
Rme is ne f the greatest cities in the wrld.
3.“序数词+最高级”句式，表示“第几最……”
Canada is the secnd largest cuntry in the wrld.加拿大是世界上第二大的国家。
The Yellw River is the secnd largest river in China.黄河是中国的第二大河流。
Turism has becme the third largest industry in the cuntry.
旅游业已成为该国的第三大产业。
4.形容词最高级的修饰语
almst，by far，by n means，much，nearly，quite，really，序数词，形容词性物主代词，名词所有格。
This tree is almst/nearly the tallest ne.这棵树几乎是最高的。
This article is much the best.这篇文章是最好的。
The TV twer is by far the largest cnstructin f ur city.电视塔目前是我市最大的建筑。
This is the third largest building in this city.这是这个城市里第三大的建筑物。
This is my busiest day.这是我最忙的一天。
The Yangtze River is China’s lngest river.长江是中国最长的河流。

2.比较级＋than+any f the ther+复数名词
The Yangtze River is lnger than any f the ther rivers in China.

【比较】
①China is larger than any ther cuntry in Asia.（范围一致）
②China is larger than any cuntry in Africa.（范围不一致）
3.否定词+比较级
I’ve never heard a better vice than yu.我从未听到过比你更好的嗓音。
It is nt a wrse idea.这是再糟糕不过的一个办法了。
I have never heard a mre interesting stry.我从来没有听过比这更有趣的故事了。
4.否定词+原级+as
N persn suffered s much as she.没有一个人像她一样遭受那么多的苦难。
Nne is s blind as thse that wn’t see.不愿正视事实的人才是真正的瞎子。
Nthing is s easy as this.没有比这更容易的事情了。
5.否定词+比较级+（than）
N ther bk has had a greater influence n my life.
任何其他书籍对我一生的影响都不如这本书大。
Never have I read a mre interesting bk than this ne.我从未读过比这更有趣的书。
