He likes pop music, while /but I am fond of folk music.二、单句语法填空和单句改错1. and。考查并列连词。空格前后有两个谓语动词，故需填并列连词and。2. but 考查连词。根据句意：我工作不是因为我不得不做，而是因为我想做。not...but...不是...而是。3. or考查并列连词。在否定句中起并列作用，用or。4. or→and句意：在高中学化学时，“我”重新考虑了自己的目标并决定成为一名医生。 因“重新考虑”与“决定成为一名医生”之间是顺承关系而非选择关系，故把or改为and。5. but→and 因“我告诉父亲我计划每隔一年回乡下一次”与“他同意了”不是转折关系，不用but，而是顺承关系，故改为and。6. so→but或yet根据前后句意思可知这里表示转折概念，并非因果；所以把so改成but或yet。
