    n.①钥匙:I’m sure I put the key back where it had been, but I can’t find it anywhere.

    ③能识别,能区分:He doesn’t know a friend from an enemy.他不分敌友。
    ④听到:I’ve known him to run faster than that.我听说他跑得比较快。
    ⑤经历:She has known both grief and happiness.悲伤和喜悦她都经历过。
    【拓展】①be known as作为……出名,be known for因为……出名,be known to为……所知:Yuan Long Ping is known for his hybrid rice as an agricultural scientist.

    knowledge n. ①知识,学问:Knowledge is power.知识就是力量。

    【拓展1】①是不可数名词,但有时可与不定冠词连用,表示某种程度的知识:
    Residents in the remote area have little knowledge about what the disease is all about, not to mention prevention and treatment.偏远地区的居民对这种疾病的情况知之甚少,更不用说预防和治疗了。
