Language Points 1.This is Jenny's Family. 1) Tom has a big family, there are 6 family members in his family. 结论1:通过观察例句1我们发现:family可意为“家庭”,强调整体。 2) His family are waching TV now. 结论2:通过观察例句2我们发现:family可意为“家人”,此时family侧重于指家庭中的每一个成员,用作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。 与family相关的短语: family tree:家谱 family name:姓氏 2. We are the Smith family.我们是史密斯一家人。 the Smith family相当于the Smiths,意为“史密斯一家人”或“史密斯夫妇”,当它作主语时,其谓语动词应用复数形式。 e.g. The Green family are very kind. 3. What does she do? 她是做什么的? 询问某人的职业或身份,常用以下两种句型: 1) What is/ are sb.? 2) What do/ does + sb. + do? e.g. 一What's your father ? =What does your father do? 一He is a teacher. Step5.
