一、教材分析:
本课教学内容为川教版小学英语五年级上册Unit2 Lesson3第一课时(Let’s learn),本课通过创设Tom全世界抓Jerry这个情景,学习著名建筑物和旅游景点的单词,并把它们运用到“-Is it …?”“-Yes,it is./-No, it isn’t.”“-Where is...”“-It's in...”这个交际活动中。
二、学情分析
五年级的学生他们具备一定的英语基础和较强的学习能力,思维比较活跃,他们在四年级的时候已经学习了一些关于地点、国家的单词,以及Is引导的一般疑问句和Where is的特殊疑问句,因此本课将通过创设情景,让学生在适当的语言环境中习得语言。
三、教学目标:
1.通过本课的学习,能正确拼读表示国家名称和各国标志性建筑物的单词。
2.通过本课的学习,进一步掌握Is it.....?和Where is....?句型的问答。
3.通过图片、游戏、小组活动等培养学生的读写能力。
四、教学重点和难点:
1.能够用自然拼读法正确认读国家名称及其标志性建筑物单词
2.在语境中能够运用Is it.....?和Where is....?句型进行口语交流。
五、课前准备:
教具准备:话筒、图片、多媒体课件、四线格磁贴等。
学生分组:将学生分成七大组(六人一小组)。

创设同学们和Tom 一起找Jerry的情景,呈现第一幅图片:the Great Wall. T: Look, Jerry is here,look at this picture ,is it Shanghai?
(Write the sentences“-Is it …?” “ /No, it isn’t.” on the blackboard.) T: Is it the Great Wall?
(Help students read the word“the Great Wall”correctly, write the sentences “Yes,it is.”on the blackboard.)
Look at the picture and ask , “Where is the Great Wall?”
Write the sentences “Where is...”“It's in...”on the blackboard.
Show some pictures of Jerry and ask pupils to guess:Where is Jerry? Look at the pictures: Is it Big Ben? Is it the Eiffel Tower? Is it Mount Fuji?
(Help the students to read “the Eiffel Tower”correctly. Ask“Where is the Eiffel Tower?” Help students to read“France”correctly.)
Finally Tom has caught Jerry and they went home together. T:Where is their home? Is it China? Is it Big Ben? Show the picture of the White House and teach it. T: Where is the White House?
T: Now let’s play a game, when the word disappears,Please say it loudly, Are you clear?
T:Do you want to play a game with the picture? T:I’d like to ask two students to come here one asks and the other guesses. Who'd like to try?
Ask the pupils to take out the paper,interview their friends where they will go and fill in the form.
According to the form they interviewed they do a report like this: My friend____ is going to the _____,it's in ____. My friend____ is going to the _____,it's in ____.
T:What did we learn today?
If Jerry is not caught ,where will he go? Draw a map of Jerry's escape route and show it to us tomorrow.

通过观察图片,玩“猜一猜”游戏,学生们趣味盎然,游戏热情高涨。
通过“猜一猜”游戏,初步感知重点句型,达到了“游戏中学习,学习中游戏”的效果。
通过学生猜词游戏中的发音情况,教师掌握了学生的整体预习水平,便于灵活调整安排接下来的教学活动。
在抓捕Jerry的情景中不断巩固新句型,让学生在不知不觉中获得新知,内化在自己的口语表达之中。
通过玩“消失的单词”游戏,强化记忆效果,增强趣味性。
教师把全班分为几个大组,每组请两名学生上台,一人手持图片用“What's this?‘句型提问,另一人背对图片用”Is it...?’预测,其他同学当裁判,看哪组猜得又对又快. 通过Guess and say这个游戏,让学生进一步掌握Is it.....?和Where is....?句型的问答。
通过小记者采访,展示了孩子们的小组交流情况。
通过写报告,培养学生们的写作能力。
通过呈现今天所学的单词和句型,让学生再次感知所学的内容。
通过开放式的作业,培养学生的逻辑思维能力。 |
