Unit 2 Cities Lesson 3 绵阳实验小学 陈洋吉 Analysis of the Teaching Material : Lesson3 of unit 3 , New Start English , Book 10 . This unit is about cities. Students already knew many places in the city and how to describe the locations .Through using many interesting verb phrases , students can introduce their cities . Analysis of students : The students are from Grade 4 .They are active ,curious and interested in new things . After learning 4 years English , they have some basic English background knowledge, so I should focus on communicating with them , providing them the chance of using English . Teaching Aims: 1.Able to understand the passage .2. Able to read this passage fluently.3. Able to retell the passage.4. Able to introduce their own cities. Key points and difficult points :To make sure students can read and retell the passage fluently .To lead students to design their own cities .To help the students introduce their cities . Teaching methods: Total physical response , communicational ,audio-visual instruction , Task-based and Situational method .
