Students can say hello and greet each others when they meet friends. Students can write core words such as “I”, “Hello”, “Miss” correctly .
Students can greet others politely in various kinds of occasions. Students can show their greeting usages in various kinds of occasions. |
教学重点 | 1.Students can greet others politely in various kinds of occasions. 2.Students can recognize the names of main characters:Miss Fang, Alice, Joe, Peter, Kitty. 3.Students can speak the core sentences, not just Hello and hi. |
教学难点 | Students can speak different kinds of greeting sentences. |
教学准备 | Teacher preparation: multimedia courseware, textbook recordings Student Preparation: Pre-class preparation, stationary |
教学过程 |
(1)Show the powerpoint, show the dialogue between Alice and Alice’s Dad to introduce what’s the topic today. (2)Play the video “The Greeting song”, let students watch and sing through the song. (Justification:playing video and create a scene so that students can easily understand the topic, and know about what they will learn today.)
(1)Show the powerpoint , ask students watch it and listen it carefully, let them focus on the dialogues how the characters greet others in different occasions. (2)Cover the dialogues and let them guess the sentences. (3)Let three or four students do a presentation so that they can consolidate the knowledge. (Justification: This step can make students focus on the core sentences, and improve speaking and spelling ability.)
(1)Ask students to practice and say: Good morning,+name, Hello+name, and write it correctly. (2)Ask students talking with their deskmates using the conversation which we practice (aboved). (3)Follow the teacher and finish the test. (Justification:The discussion and write words can make students consolidate the new knowledge.)
Do a summation what we learned today, focus on how to greet others using their expressions. |

课后作业 | 1.Finish the off-class practice. 2.Read the “say and act” on the textbook and record a video. |
教学反思 | Role play is the key part of this lesson. Encourage students to act out the story, simulate the real scenes of life and speak it out with the help of teacher. Second, off-class practice is another way to improve their writing and speaking skills with the help of further reading, so they can make continuous progress. |
