Class openingGreeting :Greet the whole class. Step II: lead-inShow the students some amazing pictures and make the Ss feel ‘the meaning of the titleAmazing English. Step III. Teaching Procedures of the New Class To get a superficial idea of the text by free talk.Do you know how many letters are there in English? Is English an easy language to learn?  Why?  (Not exactly, because the 26 letters can make a lot of words and the words can make many sentences.) Teach should write down new words and phrases letter, exactly, sentence, not exactly on the blackboard.Listening1)     Play the audiotape, ask the students to listen carefully and answer the true-or-false questions.2)     Check the answers as a class and correct any false statements. Ask the students to read the paragraph with the answer.3)     Ask the students to read the paragraph with the answer together.Comprehension of the text.    Read the text carefully and answer the questions.1)     How many  words are there in the English language? (In fact, there are about 800,000 words in the English language. ) Teach should write down fact and in fact on the blackboard.2)     Can you believe there is a sentence uses all 26 letters? (The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.) Teach writes down quick, lazy, jump over on the blackboard.3)     To learn the new words and phrases by cards.4)     Talk about two interesting words, therein and level.Therein:How many words can you find in this word if you don’t move any letters around? Let’s dig in and enjoy. (thethereheherhereere rein inthereinherein) Teacher should write down dig in on the blackboard and let the students to make a sentence with dig in. Level: Can you spell this word forwards or backwards? Other examples? (You can read it forwards or backwards—it’s the same word! did, dad, mom, noon)5)     Read the text aloud and ask each student to read each paragraph. Preview Lesson 28: How Do I Learn English?  Greeting.   Guessing     Let some students respond.     Listen to the audiotape and then do true-or-false questions.  Read the paragraph with the answer together.     Do the exercises.  Ask the students to listen to the text and then answer true-or-false questions.    Ask the students to reply.      The students read the text aloud by themselves, and then one by one. Read together.   The Ss do the exercise to consolidate the phrases.          The Ss read the text carefully and fill in the blanks in the given dialogue.           The Ss read the dialogue and act out it with deskmate.            Ss guess the meaning and taste the enchantment of English.            Write down the homework and say goodbye.  Lesson 27 Amazing Englishletter                   not exactly/really  exactly--exact            in fact--actually   sentence                jump over      fact                    dig in quick--quickly           forwards or backwards  lazy--lazily                   dig       本课准备地比较充分,课堂内容有趣,课堂气氛非常活跃,学生能积极参与学习活动,但教学效果与设想还是有一定的差距。单词和短语的教学主要放在课文语境中学习,不但学会单词而且要会用。本课重难点是理解并掌握课文内容,通过个任务教学活动来突破:一,谈话初步感知课文;二,通过两边听力进一步理解课文内容;三,细度课文,深入理解课文内容;四,大声朗读深入理解课文;,完成对话练习,熟练掌握课文内容。任务符合认知规律,难度循序渐进,但也有缺憾,学生学习基础和学习能力差距大,部分学生无法完成任务,只是走形式。这堂课给我提出的问题是:如何在课堂教学中进行分层教学管理,使课堂教学能更加面向全体学生,使课堂教学更加有效。
