Dragon Heads-raising Day is also called Spring Dragon Festival. It is on the second day of the second lunar (农历) month. It’s on March 4 this year. It came from an old story. So people can only cut it on or after Dragon Heads-raising Day. Although it’s not true, many people still do it.
There are also other ways to celebrate this festival. For example, people eat food with dragon names. People call noodles dragon’s beard (胡须). Dumplings are dragon’s ears and spring rolls (春卷) are dragon’s scales (鳞).
People also do dragon dances and make dragon lanterns. The lanterns stand for people’s best wishes and good luck.

Jacob Barone, Headmaster
Sand Hill Middle School
Richmond, VA 23274
Dear Mr. Barone,
I am Seventh-Grade Class President. I am writing to you about our spring field trip. The traditional trip is to the State History Museum. This year, however, we may have one more choice — World Botanical (植物的) Gardens. The garden hours are from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The class could leave school at 8:00 A.M. and arrive just as the gardens open. We would have time to explore the gardens, eat lunch, and return to school by 4:00 P.M.
Many seventh-grade students have already visited the history museum before. This year we are hoping to learn something new.
The purpose of the new field trip is to help students understand the different environments of our planet. The World Botanical Gardens has the second-largest walk-through Amazon rainforest exhibit (展览) in the country. Some of the other popular exhibits are the Giant Flowers, the Arid Deserts.
Since seventh-grade students are studying plants in science class, visiting the botanical gardens would be an educational and helpful field trip. The information we could learn there would be an excellent way to help our science studies.
In addition, the field trip supports what we are studying in our English class. We are recently reading Which Way to the Amazon? The forest exhibit would help to understand the novel better, which is set in a rainforest and based on scientific facts.
Please consider this request for the seventh-grade field trip to World Botanical Gardens. If additional information is needed, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Robert Burns
Seventh-Grade Class President
Sand Hill Middle School
67.How many reasons for the new field trip are given by the writer?

B.A part of the school’s name.
C.The phone number of the headteacher.

A.We’ve lived here since 1994.
B.You’ll have to get up early, since the bus leaves at 7 a.m.
C.I’ve earned my own living since I was seven, doing all kinds of jobs.
70.What can we infer from Robert’s letter?
A.Robert wishes the headmaster, Mr. Barone, would agree to his request.
B.All the Seventh-Grade students don’t want to visit State History Museum.
C.According to Robert’s plan, the students can stay in the botanic garden for 8 hours.
71.What’s the purpose of this letter?
A.To introduce the advantages of the new field trip.
