教材分析			1.词汇：能听懂、会说、认读有关母亲节的词汇Mother’s Day card, restaurant, gift, rose, a box of chocolates. 2. 句型：能用句型I’ll do ---表达母亲节的一些活动 3. 语篇：能理解、读懂课文A部分。
学情分析			本班学生学习英语积极性高，活泼好动，喜欢表演，喜欢受到同学和老师的关注，希望受到表扬。
教学目标			1. 简单了解母亲节的来历 2. 能运用课文A部分的句型和B部分的词汇自由谈论母亲节的活动。 3.学情分析学生学习有自信心，有较好的学习兴趣，能运用一些比较常用的单词和句子来表达简单的思想，乐于小组合作完成学习任务。但他们还需要扩大词汇量，需要加强对文本的理解，需要在丰富的语境下多进行自由交流。
教学重点			(1)能听懂、会说、认读有关母亲节的词汇和句型。 (2)能理解、读懂课文A部分的内容。
教学难点			(3)能运用文中的句型和词汇自由谈论母亲节的活动。
