Module 5 Unit1 I was two then.教学目标:一、语言知识目标 1. 词汇:全体学生能理解并运用:was, then, were, young, old, hair, short, long;部分学生能运用:grandparent, so; 2. 句型:全体学生能听、说、认、读I was two then. 二、能力目标 1. 全体学生能初步认读并运用词汇: was, then, were, young, old, hair, short, long; 2. 全体学生能初步掌握“I was...”谈论过去事情和情况的表达; 3. 在听力和跟读活动中感知单词的重音和句子的重读。 三、情感态度 1.在学习新的语言结构时,敢于面对困难,遇到问题主动向老师或同学请教。 2.培养学生的观察能力,鼓励学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。重点难点:重点:能够听懂,会说,会运用句型I was _then. 来描述自己的过去,用You were so _.来描述他人过去的特征。 难点:能够运用am ,is , are 和was, were 来对比描述自己或他人过去和现在状态的变化。 教学用具:课件,单词卡,Amy 和Lingling 的头像教学过程:Step1: Warming up.1.Greeting.2.Let's chant.Tall, tall. I am tall. Short, short. He is short. Fat, fat. I am fat.Thin, thin. She is thin. Cute, cute. I am cute.Cool, cool. You are naughty.(边做动作边chant,激发孩子学习英语的积极性。同时整体感知am is are,在愉快的氛围中复习be动词的用法。利用单词卡学习新单词short)3.Let’s play.I say“long”and you say “short”.Step2.Lead in Free talk.教师出示一张自己小时的照片向学生介绍 Look at this photo; guess who is that little girl ? S: …… T: Yes, It is me. (学习新单词me)T:Guess how old?S: …….. T: Yes, I was 2 then. OK. Let’s come to Module 5Unit1 I was 2 then.(板书课题,学习新单词then)对比现在的照片,发现过去和现在的不同。T:Look. I was 2 then. Now I am 26. My hair was short then. Now my hair is long.(学习单词hair和long)教师出示一张祖父母的照片。向学生介绍They are my grandparents. (学习grandparent)对比现在的照片,发现过去和现在的不同。Look. They were very young then. But now they are old. (学习yong和old)(教师总结:are\is\am——was ,are——were) Let's chant.T:What changes does Sam have? Let’s have a look.请学生移到活动一,听读。跟读3.Let’s say.Step3.Presentation.1.Watch and answerT:Today, Amy went to Lingling’s house, and she saw lots of photos ,she was very interested in these photos, let’s have a look. ⑴播放活动二的动画视频,找出带有“was,were”的句子。听完后,老师请学生指出句子(小组竞争奖励)。⑵再次播放视频,回答问题:Q:Who is that little girl?Q:How old was she then?2.Read and talk[来源:Zxxk.Com]Q:What changes can you find?(Lingling和家人都有什么变化?)引导学生对“then”和“now”作比较: Listen and repeat Role PlayStep4.Practice Let’s learn.师再次通过儿歌帮助学生区分一般现在时和一般过去时的区别,并进行巩固练习。 Look and say.师出示几组图片进行反复练习。3. Share the photos with friends . 办法:首先,示范一组A:I was __then.B:You were so__. 其次,让学生四个人为一小组,自由分享自己的相片。最后,抽查4组学生。 Step5.Summary表达过去的人或事物: I was ... then. I am ... now. He was ... then. He is ... now.
