Module 5 Unit2 They were young.教学目标：一、知识目标：1.全体学生能理解掌握单词wasn’t、weren’t、 dirty、clean 等 。2.全体学生能理解运用一般过去时句型“They weren’t old then. They were young.” 二、技能目标：1.全体学生能听懂会说认读单词及句型，并能正确书写。2.能运用“was 、were”及其否定形式“wasn’t、weren’t”谈论过去的事情和情况，对比过去与现在的不同之处。三、情感态度： 1.在学习和日常交际中，初步注意到中英文在谈论过去的事情和情况的异同。2.感知事物的变化，时间易逝，懂得珍惜时间重点难点：重点：1.学习使用wasn’t， weren’t，谈论过去的事情。 2.谈论过去的事情和情况，对比过去和现在的不同之处，发现变化。        难点 ：1.掌握单词的正确发音wasn’t， weren’t. 2.在一般过去时态中准确使用was，were， wasn’t， weren’t，谈论过去的事情。教学用具：CD-ROM、cards、photos、PPT教学过程：Step1.Warm up and lead in 1.Greeting. 2. Chant I was short. Now I am tall. She was fat. Now she is thin. He was cute. Now he is cool. It was small. Now it is big. They were young. Now they are old. You were so naughty. But you were cute. (复习不同人称后was 和were的用法) 3.Free talk.  T:I have a new friend！It can fly.Please guess:What is it? S: —Kite、bird、plane、butturfly. T：Do you like it？Why？ T：Was it beautiful then？Let’s have a look.  3. Listen，point&say.  (1) Watch the video and fill the sentence. It ____beautiful then. ------“wasn’t” read one by one.(2) Listen again ,point &say. Do you like it?-----No/Yes. Mabey it wasn’t very bad.  So: “Don't judge a book by its cover.”----不要以貌取人 Step2.Lead inWatch the video.（帮助学生理解语境及内容） T:Who are they in the pictures? 学生回答，出示图片。Look and talk about the pictures. 用表格的形式梳理，对现在和过去的描述。 Step3.Presentation.1.Listen carefully and pay atention to "wasn't" and"weren't".板书： They weren’t old.       She wasn’t tall.  2.Let’s fill in the blanks.     3.Listen and judge(   )The grandparents weren't young then.     (   )She wasn't tall then.            (   )The classroom wasn't dirty then.         4.Let’s dubStep4.Practice      Read and circle.T:Look at the pictures.Read the sentences and choose the right answer. T:When you finish it，you can talk about it with your partner. T：Stop here，let’s check out it. 2. Play a game 教师制作一个漂亮的盒子，收集全班学生的照片，学生在背面写上自己的名字，放在盒子里。请三名学生到讲台前从盒子里随机抽出一张照片，将照片展示给全班同学看，并根据照片及照片后的姓名描述照片上的学生过去和现在的特征，教师引导学生通过提问猜测照片上的人物。然后将相对应的学生过去与现在的照片贴在黑板。Step5.Summary1.“What did you learn this class?”… （设计意图：帮助学生对本课的学习内容进行梳理，以养成良好的学习习惯。）       播放视频，教师作以感情延伸，介绍现在与过去状态的变化，引出本模块主题词“changes”。教育学生要珍惜时间，努力学习。Step6.Homework:     1. Read the text for three time  2. Introduce your family to your friends and classmates. Please use the words: was,wasn’t/ were,weren’t …then  am/ is/ are/…now .板书设计：              Unit 2 They were young. dirty                   clean                            wasn’t                         weren’t         It wasn’t beautiful then.               They weren’t clean.
