Lk arund and yu’ll see peple busy n their smart phnes. Smart phnes d make ur lives easier. But have yu ever thught abut what they mean t yur eyes?
Accrding t a study, half f British peple wn smart phnes and they spend tw hurs using them every day. There has been a 35% increase(上升) in the number f peple in the UK wh have been shrtsighted since smart phnes were intrduced there in 1997.
Staring at smart phnes fr lng time gives yu dry eyes. When lking at smething in the distance, yur eyes autmatically blink(眨) a certain number f times. Hwever, when yu lk at things clser t yur face, the blinking slws dwn. This reduces the amunt f tears and causes discmfrt in yur eyes. B It’s Really a Miracle (奇迹)

In 1816, there were n schls fr the deaf in America. Several peple started a few schls, but in the end all f the schls clsed. There were t many prblems. The first peple t succeed were Laurent Clerc and Thmas Hpkins Gallaudet. They pened their schl in 1817, and the schl did nt clse. At that time it was the nly schl fr deaf children in America!
