1. Warm-up and lead-in

（1）Students look at the picture and review the sentences:

       ---Where did … go on vacation?    Did you … on vacation?

 --- I went to ........                  Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t. 

（2） Enjoy a song about the simple past tense.  

2. Presentation and practice

（1）The simple past tense

1. The teacher shows the meaning of the simple past tense.

b.Students conclude the rules of verbs of past tense .

c.The shows the changes of affirmative sentence、 Negative sentence general question and special question. 

（2）Work on Grammar fours

1. Student read the sentences themselves.
2. The teaches shows the complex indefinite pronouns.
3. Students summarize the language points according to the sentences.

（3）Work on 3a and 3b

  a.Students fill in the blanks with the words in the box and practice the conversation.

b.The teacher shows the language points of reflexive pronoun.

C.Students fill in the blanks and read the passage of 3b.
