After they answer the questions,show this question for them “ Which one do you need most?” Help them answer this question if necessary. 3.Pair work Ask Ss to work in pairs , talk about What kinds animals might robots look like in the future? What do you think these robots will be able to do?

讲授新课 | Step 2 Presentation 1. Show a picyure of Mr. Jiang. Then introduce him for the Ss. T: Please look at this picture , this is Mr. Jiang. He works in a office. Guess “What does he do?” Help them to answer this question. he is a manager. Then teach the new messager. 2. Mr. Jiang is too busy to have any time to relax. Can help him have some free time? Show a picture for them to guess. He should buy a robot for himself. Step 3 Reading 1. Fast reading Ask Ss read the passage quickly. Then find out the main idea for this article. Help them find out the main idea. 2. Skimming 1)Read the article quickly and answer the questions. 1.What kind of robot is it? 2.What happened to Mr Jiang after he bought the robot? 3.Why did the robot cause a lot of problems? 4.Was Mr Jiang satisfied with the robot at last? 3.Skimming Try to divide the article into 4 parts and match the main idea with each part. Part 1 Introduce the reason for Mr Jiang to buy a robot Part 2 Good changes Part3 Bad changes Part 4 Return the robot
Task 4 : Scan Part1 and finish the profile Ss fill in the form about Mr. Jiang. Task 5 : Scanning (Good changes and results). Ask Ss find out good changes and results of the robot.
