Step 1 Revisin
1. Greetings
2.let's chant
Tall, tall. I am tall(高).
Shrt,shrt. Yu are shrt(矮).
Fat,fat. He is fat(胖).
Thin,thin. She is thin(瘦).
New,new. It is new(新的).
Old,ld. They are ld(旧的).
教师加手势与动作进行示范后学生进行展示,做到有声有色。
[设计意图]利用有韵律感的的 chant,既复习了与本课相关的旧知识,又调动了学生的积极性。

Step 2 导入新知,呈现任务
1.新课呈现(new wrds)
①教师拿出自已现在的照片,自问自答。

②学习单词then、nw、was
教师出示自己小时候的照片,与现在的照片作对比。
Then(在那时)I was 2.
Nw I am 43.
教师课件出示姚明小时侯现在的照片继续训练新知
Then he was shrt.
Nw he is tall.
③出示一些人年轻时与现在的照片,学习单词yung和ld。
教师课件出示成龙年轻时侯和现在的照片继续训练新知
④用同样方式学习单词hair、grandparents、were
[设计意图]通过真实的照片呈现,增加了学生与教师间的亲近,激发
了学生的情趣,学习新单词及句型变得生动有趣。
2.简单讲述was/is/am, were/are的用法。
多媒体出示图片,学生完成句子(现在与过去对比的图片)。
