名词性从句在功能上相当于名词, 在复合句中能担任主语、宾语、表语、同位语等。

名词性从句的作用相当于名词,因此主语从句、表语从句 、宾语从句和同位语从句分别作主句的主语、表语、宾语和同位语。
1。(根据句意)标出名词性从句并确定是①主从?②宾从?③表从 ?④同位从?
①缺主宾表定用连接代词
②缺状(根据句意判断是否需要补充状语)用连接副词
①需要“是否”含义whether或 if ?
②不要需要“是否”含义用that

宾语从句

句子做宾语就是宾语从句,跟在及物动词、介词或系表结构后
宾 语 从 句
一、连词(引导词)that 1. that1) that在从句中不作任何成分,也没有任何具体意思,因此在口语或非正式文体中常省略。
Lin Ta feels (that) his wn team is even better.
2.在主句为动词be加某些形容词(如srry, sure, afraid, glad等)作表语时,后面所跟的从句也是宾语从句(that可省略)。
I’m srry (that) I dn’t knw .We’re sure (that) ur team will win .I’m afraid (that) he wn’t pass the exam .
3。宾语从句中的连接词that在以下三种情况下不能省略:
(1)当that 从句与另一名词性从句并列作宾语时,第一个that能省,第二个that不能省;(2)当that从句作介词宾语时,that不可省。(3)用it做形式宾语的宾语从句,that不可省。

二.注意 whether和if的使用区别:
1) whether和if都可以引导宾语从句,表示“是否”不能省略,但 以下情况只用whether,不用if。a. 当从句中有r nt时 b. 介词后面的宾语从句。 C.当与t d连用时,

三。关于dubt鉴于dubt自身含义的特殊性,在谓语动词dubt或be nt sure后用whether/ if引导宾语从句;在谓语动词dn't dubt或be sure后用that引导
四。时态1. 如果主句是现在的时态 ,从句的时态可根据实际情况而定

2. 如果主句是过去的时态,那么从句的时态一定要用相对应的______的某种时态

3.当从句是客观真理,定义,公理,定理时用一般现在时。

五、语序宾语从句要用陈述语序:连接词+主语+谓语+其他成分。

六。注意:形式宾语it it常可以放在动词think, find, cnsider, believe, feel, make等后作为形式宾语, 真正的宾语是that/ wh-从句则放在句尾。
Predicative Clauses
表语从句
表语从句是在复合句中作表语的名词性从句,放在系动词之后,一般结构是“主语+系动词+表语从句”。可以接表语从句的系动词有be, lk, remain, seem等。
在表语从句中,表“是否” 时,只能用 “whether”不能用“if”。一般情况下,“that”不能省。 It is/ was because +原因 It is/ was why+结果 4. The reasn (why…/fr…)is/ was that….5. The reasn is because/ why…

Subject Clauses
主语从句
1. ______the earth is rund is knwn t all. (地球是圆的)
一. that 只起引导作用,不充当主语从句中成分,没有意义,但_____省略。
二,whether “是否”,不做成分,不能省略。放句首只用whether ; It 作形式主语,真正主语从句放后面时if和whether均可引导主语从句。

三。主语从句对应的主句谓语动词一般用单数。但what等引导主语从句时,主句谓语单复数可根据表语决定。

同位语从句 1. 跟在某些抽象名词后面,对该名词作进一步解释说明。常用名词有belief, fact, idea, hpe, news, dubt, result, thught, infrmatin, pinin等。以及suggestin, rder, demand, wish等。

3. 定语从句:充当宾语时可以省略。 同位语从句:that不能省
区别that引导的同位语从句和定语从句:
1.定语从句:that充当的主语或宾语。同位语从句:that不作任何句子成分
2.定语从句:对前面名词进行修饰或限定,译为“…的”。 同位语从句:对前面名词的内容的具体说明
