学情:班额人数较大,学生的英语基础和能力也有所差距,两极分化严重。
教材:人教版八年级下册:Unit 7 What’s the highest mountain in the world?
课型:写作课;
课程时间:39分钟(由于手机录制,且教室临近街道,车来车往,所以噪音较多;录制中间内存不够,所以临时删了内存才得以录完)。
教具:英语书,PPT, 电脑,图片,黑板,写作量表与写作纸;
教学方法:PWP写作教学,小组合作;
教学目标:
- 语言知识目标:
学生能学会使用make ruls on whale protection;stop putting rubbish into the sea;catch … for…;die out等语言结构的使用,并且能运用并巩固重要句型:… should (not)…;If…, … will…;It’s adj. to do sth.。
- 语言技能目标:
学生能运用写作量表对自己的作文进行评价和修改,并在小组合作时对他人的作文进行评价,并提出修改意见,从而相互学习,明白自己作文的不足,进而提升自己的写作能力。
- 情感目标:
学生通过本次写作课,能知道人们应该如何保护鲸鱼,并且知道保护环境和濒危动物的意义。
重难点:
- 由于四川处于内陆地区,很多同学缺少对鲸鱼的认识和了解,更不知道他们已经濒危亟需保护。环保这个话题对于学生来说还有点陌生,所以学生可能欠缺环保意识和写作思路,从而导致输出质量可能达不到预期。
- 写作量表的使用对师生都是挑战。在平时的写作中,师生都很少使用,甚至没有使用写作量表,所以学生可能不能完全正确的使用写作量表。
教学过程:
Stage 1 Greetings and lead in (5 min)
Sing a song: What a Wonderful World
T: Hello,boys and girls! The world is wonderful because of many things, like blue skies, beautiful flowers, lovely babies and green trees. However, there are also bad sides of the world. Let’s see!
( Pictures and Phrases: water pollution/air pollution/plastic pollution )
T: Why are there so many kinds of pollution in the world?

T: Yes, because of these human activities, many aimals have died out. Many animals are also in danger, including whales.
Stage 2 Pre- writing (10 min)
T: So what are whales? Why are they endangered? How can we protect them? Now look at Page 55 3a and check your answers in group quickly.

T: Time is up. First, what are whales? Why are they endangered? How can we protect them? Do you know other ways?

T: Listen, boys and girls. If we don’t want whales to die out, we must do something to save them. Do you want to save them?

Stage 3 While writing (20 min)
Ss write the poster on paper alone for 10 minutes.
T: Now time is up. Please take out the marking ladder to check your writing and give a mark. Watch carefully. If you don’t know, please ask me.

Stage 5 反思:
教师结合教材7单元Section B 3a/3b的内容,通过歌曲引入,引导学生思考世界本是美妙的,但由于人类的活动,引起了很多环境污染并导致很多动物灭绝或濒危,包括鲸鱼。为了更好的保护鲸鱼,我们首先要了解鲸鱼的习性,濒危的原因以及如何保护它们,从而形成了本次写作的内容框架。借助设计海报的写作任务,提高学生写作兴趣。
不足:由于学生两极分化严重,加上平时很少上公开课或录课,所以学生,老师都很紧张,只有少数学生能够自如的回答问题。由于写作量表平时没有使用,所以学生在自评时把握不佳,不能找出所有的语言错误,拼写错误,所以自评不够准确。
