Why?Because someone got ill.Because of the corona-virus.Our body may get ill.How do we ask and answer about illness? 知识讲解(难点突破) Step 2 Review.1. We have learned the words before class. Present a picture of a body . Look at the body. Say out the words one by one. Step 3 Presentation . Just now , we know the words about our bodies . But sometimes our body may get ill. What common illnesses do you know?Here are the new phrases about the illnesses. Let’s learn them.Ask students read the words with teacher and do some actions like teacher.Our body may get ill.How do we ask and answer about illness?Let’s watch a video. Follow it and do some actions.    From the video. We know we can ask “what’s the matter with you?”and you can answer “I have a ...”.  边说边呈现。Ask students according pictures to make conversations with their partner.Then ask them to show their conversations.( Ask students talk loudly, correctly and politely and do some actions)Step 4 Grammar focus.  1.Summarize the difficult and important points for students.    ★What’s the matter with sb?= What’s the trouble with sb?= What’s wrong with sb?注:with为介词,后跟人称代词宾格,如her,him,them等。在英语中,表达疼痛或不舒服时的常用结构:(1)主语+have/has+a 病症      have a cold/fever  (2)主语+have/has+a+sore+发病部位      sore 是一个独立的形容词,指的是身体某一部位的酸痛。如:sore back, sore throat,sore back,sore neck.(3)主语+have/has+a+部位-ache-ache作后缀,常与表示身体部位的名词合成一个新词,表身体某部位疼痛,如:toothache , headache , stomachache .Step 5 Group work. 1. T: If some students are ill, will you give some advice and help them?    Yes,we can use should / shouldn’t.2.Ask students to work in pairs.Write down their answers about the pictures. (Four students in a groups.)3. Teacher show the example. 4. Students work.5. Ask some students to show their conversations. The advice for illness is very useful . It can help us take good care of ourselves and others.Step6.Give advice for ourselves.T: What should you do to keep yourself from the corona-virus infection?Remember Wuhan!Wash your hands.Use masks in the right way.Have your temperature checked regularly.Avoid large crowds.Never touch anything unclean.Step 7 Summarize.1. Summarize. Today we learned how to ask and answer about illness by using some common illnesses and some structures. we can give advice to help other.And we knew some ways to keep ourselves from the corona-virus infection.I hope everyone is healthy and happy.  2.Read the sentences together.Pull together and take good care of ourselves!
