[探究] decide t d sth.意为“决定做某事”; decide nt t d sth.意为“决定不做某事”。
[拓展] decide的名词形式为________,常用短语为make a decisin,意为“作出决定”。
[观察] Alice had t g back t the table, but she was t small t reach the key. 爱丽丝只好回到桌子旁,但是她太小,够不着那把钥匙。He is t yung t jin the army. 他年纪太小了,不能参军。
● 3 t…t… 太……而不能……
[探究] t…t…意为“太……而不能……”,它在形式上是肯定的,但表示________意义,所以不定式符号t前无需再加nt,t后接形容词或副词原级。
[拓展] “t…t…”可以与“nt…enugh t…”和“s…that…”进行同义句转换。与“nt…enugh t…”转换时,enugh前的形容词或副词须是t后面形容词或副词的反义词;与“s…that…”转换时,that后面的从句要用否定形式。

[注意] 在t…t…结构中,当动词不定式后接的动词是不及物动词时,其后所跟的介词不能省略。The rm is t small t live in. 这个房间太小了,不能住。
[探究] “what t d”为“特殊疑问词+____________”结构。 (1)构成:what, which, hw, when, where等特殊疑问词引导,后面跟动词不定式短语。(2)语法功能:按所作的句子成分来说,在句中可作主语、宾语和表语。(3)“特殊疑问词+动词不定式”结构可以改写成由该特殊疑问词引导的从句,其语法功能不变。
