2学情分析 评论
我所教学的对象是初一学生(以中等生为主), 对英语较感兴趣, 好奇心强,求知欲较旺盛,他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,减少他们的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
3重点难点 评论
基于上述对教材的分析,我确定本课的教学重点为词汇、阅读技巧、现在进行时的使用和写作能力。教学难点为正确使用现在进行时写一张介绍假期活动的明信片。

活动1【导入】(一)导入新课 评论
1. Free talk & Warm up.
Talk abut the weather and ask the students what they like t d when the weather is gd. Thus I lead t tday’s tpic--vacatin.
2. Brainstrm.
Write dwn “vacatin” n the center f the blackbard and have the students brainstrm anything related t the tpic. T make it easier, I can give them an example like “weather”. While the students are cming up with different answers, I keep asking them questins related t the tpic and lead t a few new wrds frm the reading material in 2b.

Task 1. Picture reading.
Shw the students the first picture abut vacatin frm 2a. Ask them sme questins abut the picture and help them t put their answers int a full sentence t describe the picture.
Task 2. Pair wrk.
1. Shw the students the ther 2 pictures frm 2a. Ask them t wrk in pairs and ask each ther questins abut the pictures and describe the pictures with r withut the help f sentence structures.
2 Ask the students’ preferences abut the vacatins shwn in the pictures and encurage them t g fr a vacatin utdrs rather than indrs. The questins als help t lead t the next task.
Task 3. Fast reading.
1. Shw the students the pstcard frm Su Lin, ask them t match the pstcard with the right picture. Encurage them t finish this task as fast as they can. Afterwards, ask the first student with the right answer t give his r her reasns.
2. Shw the students the pstcard frm Dave with part f the text cvered leaving nly ne wrd--muntains. Again ask the students t d the match as fast as they can. Intrduce key wrds and its imprtance.
Task 4. Game: Please find...
Divide the whle class int 2 teams as Team A and Team B. Explain t them the rules f the game and start the game.
Rules:
1. Find the wrds given quickly frm 2b and put up yur hands.
2. Yu have t read the sentence with the wrds given as sn as yu stand up.
This task aims t help the students practice their skill f finding key wrds.
Task 5. Find and underline.
T take a step frward, ask the students t find the answers t the fllwing questins and underline them.
1. Where are Su Lin and Dave?
2. Hw is the weather?
3. What are they ding?
4. Hw d they feel?
This helps the students t practice their reading skill and get t learn abut the structure f the passage.
Task 6. Grw yur mind tree.
Hand ut each student a piece f paper with a frm in it. Ask the students t fill in the frm with the wrds r phrases they’ve just underlined. Check the answers between teams afterwards.
Task 7. Listen, repeat and retell.
Play the tape and ask the students t fllw. Ask students frm different teams t cmpete and retell the passage accrding t the mind tree and with the help f the example I give them.
Task 8. A pstcard t Alice.
1. Shw the students 5 pictures abut my vacatin cntaining the fllwing infrmatin: place, weather, activities and feelings. Talk with them abut the pictures and make them cmplete a mind map based n my vacatin.
2. Ask the students t read the pstcard frm Su Lin and find ut the parts and frm f the pstcard.
3. Have the students wrk in grups f fur. Hand each grup with a beautifully hand made pstcard and ask them t write a pstcard t my friend Alice telling her abut my vacatin.
Ask grups frm different team t present their pstcard.
