    Gurds (葫芦) have a histry f 7,000 years in China. These special- shaped plants are used fr cking delicius dishes as well as making musical instruments. But tday we are talking abut the pyrgraphy craft (烙画工艺) n gurds.
    The craft riginated during the Han Dynasty and entered its glden age during the Qing Dynasty. Many cities f China like Tianjin and Beijing are well-knwn fr their prductin f such gurds. Take the craft frm Beijing as an example. As the family’s furth-generat in inheritr (继承人) f Beijing’s gurd-pyrgraphy craft, Niu Chenggu has been wrking hard n the craft fr abut 40 years. With his great lve fr beautiful things, Niu has kept imprving his artistic skills and created many wrks f art.
    “When I was a little by, I was deeply tuched by the lively patterns n gurds which were created by my grandpa. I began studying hw t create the artwrks under my grandpa when I was 11,” said Niu.

    The regent hneyeater(王吸蜜鸟) was nce cmmn in sutheastern Australia, but since the 1950s, it has lst abut 90% f its habitat (栖息地). As a result, there is a rapid drp in its ppulatin. Nw there are nly abut 300 regent hneyeaters in the wrld.
    Yung regent hneyeaters learn t sing frm adult members f their species (物种).     During the search, he nticed sme birds were singing strange sngs. Accrding t the research, the natural sng f the regent hneyeater has disappeared in 12% f its ppulatin.
