    Unit 4 Where is my car ?Part C Story timeTeaching aims:Knowledge aim: students can finish the tasks and understand the story.Ability aim: students can act out and retell the story.Emotional aim: students can learn to communicate and cooperate with classmates, and improve their interest’s of learning English. Key point:Review the unit and understand the whole story. Difficult point:Students can actout and retell the story. Teaching methods:Task-based method, situational method, TPR method, communicative method. Teaching tools:PPT, some pictures of position word, the headwears of Zoom and Zip. Teaching procedures:Step one: Warming upIntroduce the rules of the “game” class.    T: Today I invite two friends come here, Zoom and Zip. Do you want to play game with them?Ss: Yes.T: But I put three difficulties for you, each time you pass one, you will get two pieces of the story. When you pass all, you will get the whole story.Are you ready?Ss: Go!T: At first, let’s sing a song.Sing the song Where is my toy car?  Step two: ReviewRound one: In unit four, we have learnt so many words. Now look at the pictures and say out the word.T presents the pictures and point the Ss to say the words.Pass it and give the two pieces of story. Round two:In the pictures, there are many things. On the right, there are ten words. Now, tick out the word that you can find in the picture.Ss come infront and tick the words.Pass it and give the two pieces of story. Round three:  Look at the four pictures carefully, then listen to the tap and find out the right answers.T guides the Ss say out the right positions: Where is the boat/cap/car/ball?Listen twice and write down the answers.Check the answers and repeat the dialogue. Step three: PresentionZoom and Zip are playing a game, let’s have a look.Watch the flash, try to understand the name of the game.(Teach the phrase: hide and seek.)Watch again, find out where is the Zip?(Teach the word: behind.)Ss learn the sentences according the each story picture.Ss read the whole story by themselves.Pair work: T acts as Zoom, one student acts as Zip. Then two Ss perform by themselves.Retell the whole story.Step four: SummaryWhat do you learn? Step five : HomeworkRetell the story to your parents. Blackboard design:Where is my car?Part C Story timein      on     underhide and seekbehindReflection
