教材分析：

本模块的话题是说明活动、行为或事件发生的时间，unit 1把时间表达和工作话题相结合。在语法上主要是复习一般现在时。

学情分析：

学生在低年级时已经学习过一般现在时和时间表达法，本课结合新的主题帮助学生进行巩固提高。

课时教学目标：

语言知识目标：

1. 功能：说明活动、行为或事件发生的时间
2. 语法：全体学生能运用一般将来时
3. 词汇：全体学生能读和理解：evening，actor，busy

         全体学生能运用：evening，busy

         部分学生能运用：actor

4. 句型：全体学生能读和理解并运用：My father goes to work at8 o’clock every morning. He’s a policeman.
5. 语音：进一步强化语音语调，初步达到语调达意。

语言技能目标：

1. 全体学生能听懂、会说：My father goes to work at 8 o’clock

   every morning. He’s a policeman.

2. 全体学生能听懂并朗读课文，能说明作息时间。

1. 学生更了解父母工作，学会感恩父母。

教学过程：

Step One:  Warming-up＆Lead-in

1. Ask students to say the jobs quickly according to the pictures.

T: Boys and girls, we have talked about jobs in Module 1. Now look at the screen. Can you tell me, what does she or he do? Say the jobs quickly, using the sentence pattern “He/ She is a/an.....”

T: Ok. So today we’ll continue talking about jobs. Let’s learn module7 unit 1

2. Present activity 1

   (1)T: Let’s watch the video of activity 1.You should pay attention to the time.

   Then finish these sentences.

 Explain “am, pm”. Teach “go to work”. And make sentences using the phrase.

     “He goes to work at 8 am.”  “She goes home at 4pm.”

Read activity 1 together.

3. Present the learning tasks in this lesson.

Step Two:  Presentation

1. Watch and Answer

T: Now watch the video of activity 2 and answer the questions “What do their parents do?”

   After watching, ask students to judge the sentences according to the video.

1)Daming's father is a policeman.      (       )

2). Daming's mother is a nurse.        (       )
3). Fangfang's mother is a taxi driver.   (       )
4). Fangfang's father is a doctor.       (       )

Then teach new word “actor”

2. Listen and answer.

  T: We know their parents’ jobs. But do you know when their parents go to work every day? Now take out your pencils. Let’s listen again and underline the right answer in this text.

   Explain the answer and teach new words “evening, busy”.

3. Listen and repeat

  Play the tape and ask students to repeat. Then ask students to practice reading.

4. Work in group. Practice reading and complete the form.

5.Role-play

   Ask students to read the text together. The whole dialogue is devided into four parts. Ask students to act out one of them.

Step Three Practice and production

1. T: Now look at the pictures in activity 4. Can you tell me “What do they do? When do they go to work?” Try to follow the sentence pattern in our text. “ My brother is..... He goes to work .....”

2. Ask students to talk about parents’ jobs. 

 T: Ok.Now let’s talk about your parents’jobs.

Step Four Summary and Moral Education

1. Help students learn to be grateful for their parents.

  T: Do you like your parents’ jobs? I think we should be proud of our parents no matter what they do. Because they work hard for us. They work so hard that we can live a better life. We should thank them and love them.

2. Summarize what students have learnt in this lesson.

   T: We have talked about our parents’ jobs in this lesson. And there are some important words and sentences. You should remember it. Let’s read it together.

3. Have a test to check if they have learnt well in this lesson.
