Step1:Warming up:
电脑播放歌曲《D sme exercise with me》学生跟唱并做动作
T:Gd mrning,bys and girls.
Ss:Gd mrning,Miss Li.
T:Hw are yu?
Ss:Fine,thank yu,and yu?
T:I’m fine t.
Nw,Let’s say the chant and d the actins.
Tall, tall,tall. I am tall.
Shrt, shrt ,shrt. Yu are shrt.
Fat, fat ,fat. He is fat.
Thin, thin ,thin. She is thin.
big, big,big. big.It’s big
small, small, small. They are small!
【设计意图】动画与音乐可激发学生的活动欲望,活泼欢快的节奏可消除学生的紧张感和疲乏感;同时通过让学生和老师一起一边夸张的做动作,一边说chant,复习了学过的形容词,同时营造了一种欢快愉悦的课堂氛围。

利用课件出示图片
3、Let’s play a game
A. 把以学单词(tall shrt fat thin yung ld lng cute beautiful naughty nice clever shy cl )的卡片分发给学生。
B. 教师喊出其中任意两个单词,持有这两个单词的学生必须以最快的速度起立,否则学生出局。
Step2: Presentatin
1)幻灯片展示教师自己的近照和两岁时的照片。

【设计意图】让学生在轻松的环境中运用人称与be动词的搭配。
3) (课件出示老奶奶图画)

(指着grandma )T: We can als say grandparent.

升降调练习parent,个人试操练grandparent 。
3)课件展示教师爷爷奶奶的近照和他们的结婚照。并用句子描述照片内容。

引出were ,并运用单词卡片,男女生,齐读操练。
利用卡片重点操练was ,were.
4)课件出示两幅图片,让孩子们看图用was, is填空补全句子。

5)课件出示两幅图片,让孩子们看图用were, are填空补全句子。
They _________shrt ,then. Nw they________tall.

【设计意图】通过照片的对比及图片的操练,进一步让学生明确了过去到现在发生的变化,做到了学以致用又培养了学生善于观察的能力。考虑到学情,我设计了用was, is和were, are进行看图填空,这样降低了学生表达的难度,尽量让每一个孩子都体会到成功的喜悦。

【设计意图】这个步骤重点培养学生的听力水平,在学习课文之前,给学生以“任务”,让学生带着问题去听,通过听对话内容能回答简单的问题,培养学生积极的学习态度,良好的听力习惯。
四、当堂检测:
拿出纸,只写题号,将正确答案写到纸上。
