Helen Keller was brn in Alabama in 1880. When she was nly 19 mnths ld, she had a high fever that left her blind and deaf. When she was almst 7 years ld, her parents engaged(雇) Anne Mansfield Sullivan t be her tutr.
When she was 20, she entered Radcliffe Cllege, with Miss Sullivan at her side t spell textbks, letter by letter, int her hand. Fur years later, Helen Keller was awarded a Bachelr’s degree.After graduatin, Helen began her life’s wrk f helping blind and deaf peple. She travelled arund the wrld t lecture and wrte many bks and articles.
She was a wman f great intelligence and high ambitin. She died at the age f 87, mre than 30 years after the death f Anne Sullivan. Helen Keller is remembered by the wrld fr her great will and cntributins.
