Step 1 Warm up
Greetings.
-- Class begins. Gd mrning, bys and girls. Hw are yu tday?
-- I’m nt very well. In fact, I’m a little nervus. Because there are many English teachers, they cme t listen my lessn.
Start lessn.
OK. Nw, let’s begin ur lessn. Tday, we will learn Recycle 1. (板书课题)
Step 2 Revisin
First, I will ask yu sme questins. Are yu ready? OK. Hw many seasns are there in a year? Fur. Wh are they?
Then, anther questin. Hw many mnths are there in a year? Twelve. Wh are they? Spell them, please.
Next, review the weather and activities in each seasn.
Step 3 Presentatin
In Zhuzhu, it is spring nw. There are beautiful flwers everywhere. But d yu knw which seasn it is in Sydney nw? Can yu guess? (Ss: Autumn.)
Sarah will visit Sydney in April. She asks Stella, a friend there, abut the weather. T gives the task f this class: Read the email and answer it.
Step 4 Reading
PPT: the Sydney Opera Huse→ Sydney → many visitrs → the mst famus building in Australia
Pre-reading. Read and answer. ①Is it spring in Sydney in April? ② What’s the weather like in April in Sydney?
While-reading. Read the email fr 5 minutes.
After-reading. Check the answers.
Explain “the mst famus building” in the text. e.g: In Zhuzhu, Shennng Twer is the mst famus building.
Step 5 Practice
Ask three Ss t read the email ne by ne. Then the class read it tgether.
Grup wrk. Ss talk abut and then answer the email. Ask tw Ss t shw their answers in frnt f the whle class.
