T: Very well, thank you. Sit down , please.
T: Are you ready for our English class?
Ss: Yes.
T:What did you do yesterday?
Ss: I played football; I helped my mum; I watched TV…
T: Yes, I watched TV too. Do you like watching TV?

T: Ok, let’s watch and answer:

T:Yes, China is changing, our life is changing ,and look at this old lady, her life is also changing. Let’s watch and say:

【设计意图】:通过课前打招呼,缓和学生的紧张情绪,调节课前氛围,为后面的教授做好铺垫同时引出change,让学生感受中国的变化,最后再以拍照的功能折射出老奶奶过去和现在的生活。
二.Lead in
1. T: As we know, life is changing, Our friend Amy and Linging watched this programme and now Lingling is Writing a letter to Daming.

【设计意图】:教师设置几个比较简单的问题,让学生观看动画对课文大意有一个整体的了解,为后面的听力内容做好铺垫。在本环节中采取先呈现听力问题,然后让学生有目的性的去听听力,这样才能在听录音材料时做到有的放矢,有所侧重,抓住关键词,提高准确性,让学生则成为了课堂的主人,发挥了学生的主体性。

【设计意图】小组活动能更加有效的培养学生合作学习的意识。
2. Take out your paper, 3 mins for you to finish.
( Using mobile phone to taking pictures and ask 2 ss to read their letter. )
【设计意图】通过小组讨论,完成练习单中的内容,符合小学五年级英语的要求,听、说、读、写以及英语的综合应用。让学生完成填空时可以通过教师提供的图片信息让学生完成,降低了学生学习的难度以及书写时带来的难度,还提高了学生运用语言的能力同时培养学生合作学习的意识,最后利用希沃白板5中的拍照功能让学生自己尝试读出自己所写内容,这也是语言输出的一种呈现方式。
五. Emotional education.
T: China is changing, our life is also changing, So a better life is hard-won, let’s cherish our life.
【设计意图】:通过视频展示出改革开放的前后对比生活,让学生感受到过去和现在生活的差距,同时告诉学生现在的生活是来之不易的,我们应该珍惜我们现在的生活。
