Unit 2 What are you going to study?教学设计
一、教学目标:
1. 语言能力:
(1)学生能理解,会认读科目名词,特别是能正确读出单词“physics, chemistry”。
(2)会使用 be going to 和will谈论中学的计划或者打算。
(3)学生们能理解并使用句子“Which middle school are you going to? I’m going to…. ”以及”What (subject)are you going to study? I’m going to study….与同桌或小组成员积极交流,谈论自己的中学计划。
2. 学习能力
培养学生阅读理解的能力、口语交际的能力以及大胆说英语的习惯。
3. 文化品格
培养学生喜爱学习、积极交流的情感。
4. 思维品质
培养学生发散性思维,在学习的过程中能提出自己的见解,解决文本中的问题。
二、教学重难点
重点:掌握科目名词的英文表达,会使用 be going to 和will谈论中学的计划或者打算。
难点:会使用 be going to 和will谈论中学的计划或者打算。
三、教具准备:
Word cards, PPT多媒体课件
四、教学方法:
小组合作学习法,游戏法、竞赛法等。
五、教学过程:
Step1.: Warming up and revision.
1、Greetings.
2、Let’s sing a song and doing the action.
T:Good morning, boys and girls. Time flies. We are going to say goodbye to our primary school soon .So let’s say goodbye to each other. And let’s sing the song “Goodbye, my friend.”(学生齐唱歌曲并做简单的律动。)
【设计意图】通过简单的问候,帮助学生适应英语语感,进入英语学习状态,再采用TPR的方式来缓解学生的紧张情绪,建立轻松的课堂氛围,为进一步的学习奠定基础。
3、Have a competition and review the words of subjects.
4、Learn the new words “physics” and “chemistry”.
【设计意图】通过小组竞赛活动激发学生的学习积极性,在学生操练单词时运用各种形式操练,让学生保持英语学习的热情。
Step2.lead-in
1、Review the words again.
2、What are you studying now? And what are going to go to study in middle schools? Do you want to know what subjects you will study in September? Now let’s learn Module 10 Unit 2 . (板书课题)
3、Let the students discuss what subjects they are going to study ? Then ask and answer in pairs.
【设计意图】引入并操练本课需要掌握的核心句型,在轻松练习本节课重点句型的同时为下面的文段学习打下基础。
Step3.Presentation
1、(Show the pictures of Amy and Lingling and ask “Who are they?). They are talking about their middle school plans. Now let’s watch the flash and finish task1 “Listen and match”.(同学观看课文动画后,小组协作完成思维图并展示小组成果。) .
【设计意图】在学习课文时,先使用多媒体课件播放课文视频,让学生听课文并模仿课文语音语调,可以使学生通过聆听纯正发音的英语,迅速进入角色,感受语言的魅力,为其流利地运用语言打下坚实的基础。通过小组合作完成思维导图,帮助学生轻松了解文本意思。
2、Listen and read , then answer the questions.
Questions : (1) Is Lingling going to middle school in September?
(2) Which school is Lingling going to?
(3) Which school is Amy going to?
(4) What is Amy going to study?
(5) What is Lingling going to study?
【设计意图】通过再读文本,回答问题,进一步加深对文本的了解,同时进一步操练重点句型。
3、Task 3: Make a survey.
(1) Retell the plans of Amy and Lingling.
(2) Write the plans of yourselves and interview the classmates in your groups ,and finish the task form. (小组协作交流,完成调查任务表以及组内评价。)
(3) 学生上台展示任务表。
【设计意图】学生的注意力容易分散,通过全班活动,才能让全体学生参与,形成活跃的课堂氛围,巩固句子 “Which middle school are you going to? I’m going to….”以及 “What (subjects)are you going to study? I’m going to study….” 把握重点,突破难点,轻松地学到知识。小组活动中的小组评价可以帮助学生更好地分工合作,并且对全班同学的课堂表现可以做一个全面的了解。
Step4. Consolidation。
1、Finish Task4: Write the passage of your middle school plan.
2、Share the passage.
【设计意图】把口头知识转化成笔头知识,巩固所学知识,同时也对学生进行了思想感情教育)
Step5.Summary
1、Today we have learnt these words. (Reading these subjects) and this sentences: What are you going to study? We are going to study_________.
2、Enjoy a song and Congratulations to the students for their education and wishing them a future filled with success and joy of seeing their dreams come true.
【设计意图】对学生进行情感教育,使学生在学到更多的知识的同时,享受生活以及学习带来的快乐,让学生对学习保持浓厚的兴趣。
