Step 1 Talking abut pictures
Shw pictures f different kinds f bad weather and disasters. Get the students t talk abut the results f them. They can als talk abut what ther peple d t help.
(It will be better if the teacher can cllect sme reprts n disasters r bad weather frm newspapers r magazines. In this step, the teacher may try t input mre infrmatin abut the disasters and help students t talk abut it.)
Step 2 Listen t the tape
Explain that Annie and Simn are talking abut a natural disaster. Invite them t listen t the tape and try t answer the questins.
Step 3 Reading the dialgue again
Get the students t read the dialgue alud. Direct students attentin t the intnatin f different sentences. We use a rising tne fr general questins. We use falling tnes fr ‘wh-’ questins r statements.
