一、教学目标
知识目标:
1. 能听懂并理解Let’s talk部分的对话内容,并能做替换练习。
2. 能流畅地朗读对话,并能在日常生活中灵活准确地运用以下功能结构:
—Who’s that man?
—He’s Wang Wanqing.
—What does he do?
—He’s a doctor. He is from ... But he worked ...
能力目标:
能够熟练运用所学知识,询问和介绍他人的姓名、职业等个人信息。
情感目标
1、培养学生热爱生活、乐于助人的意识,引导其树立正确的人生观。
2、引导学生了解英语中职业名称的性别差异。
3、培养学生的合作意识,引导其积极与他人合作,运用所学英语进行交流,共同完成学习任务。

- 能熟练运用重点句型Who is the man with...? 及 What does he /she do? --He/ She is ...
- 能运用所学重点句型自编对话或介绍他人。

四、教学过程
1.课前热身(Warm up)
教师播放有关职业的视频
- Good morning, everyone. I will show you a video. Let’s relax together.
2.复习旧知(Revision)
通过快速反应游戏,复习上节课所学单词。
3.新课导入(Lead in)
课件出示明星易烊千玺和赵丽颖图片,引出句型Who is that man/woman?
T:Do you have idols?
Ss: Yes.
T:Who is your idol?
S1:...
T:Look at this picture. Who is the man?
Ss : He is.../His name is...
T: Is he young or old?
Ss: He is young.
T: Yes, so we can ask like this “Who is the ( young ) man? I’ll show you another famous star. Who is the woman? Is she beautiful?
Ss: She is...and she is beautiful.
T:So we can ask “Who is the( beautiful ) woman? ” You can use these words to describe a person. Such as beautiful/strong/ tall/short/fat/ thin/young/old.
4.新授(Presentation)
出示一张几个年轻女孩的合照,邓紫棋戴帽子和王俊凯戴眼镜的图片,引出句型 Who is the man/woman with...?
T:Now, let’s have another try. Who is this young girl? You don’t know which one I mean, right? Because they are all young. So what should we do? We can use the sentence like this. “Who is the young girl with short hair?” Then explain the function of with. For example, there is a hat on her head. We can ask: Who is the woman with a hat?
板书:Who is the man/woman with...?---He/ She is...
Use the teaching aids to practice the sentence patterns.
通过猜谜语引出What does he do?
T:Do you like riddles? There is a riddle for you. He is very tall. He plays basketball very well. He is famous in China. Who is he?
Ss: He is Yao Ming.
T: You are so smart. Do you know what he is? Or what does he do?
Ss: He is a basketball player.
板书:What does he/she do?---He/She is...
T:Then what about him? What does he do ?
S1: He is an actor.
T:Oh, who is the girl with short hair? What does she do?
S2: She is a pupil.
T:Today I invite some friends. Can you guess what he/ she is? What does he/ she do? Welcome.
T: Do you like their performance? They did a very good job.
出示本课将要涉及到的李灵和王万青的照片。
T: Wu Chen and Colin are talking about a woman. Do you want to know who she is? Ok, listen and find answers to the questions.
T:Follow the tape and read together.
T: Li Ling is a great person. In 2009,she was honored as one of the “People Who Moved China”. Here is another man who got the honor, too. His name is Wang Wanqing. He is a thin man with glasses.
