能询问或说出10以内物品或人物的数量；
能用1---10十个数字计数；
能理解故事内容并能朗读故事人物对话。
知识目标
语音：能区别辅音字母s, z在单词中的发音。
词汇：话题词汇：能指认、说出数字1----10， 以及bird, flwer, crcdile,等动植物名称。
情景词汇：能在语境中理解Be careful! Help! Lk ut! 的含义。
句型：能运用Hw there? There are \There 询问和说明数量的多少。
情感、策略、文化意识目标
1.通过故事的学习，培养学生热爱自然、保护动物的意识。
2.通过数字手势的不同表达法，帮助学生了解中美文化差异。

1.知识目标：能说出数字ne, tw, three, fur, five;能够询问和说明物品的数量：Hw many…are there? There are/There is…;
2.能力目标：能在插图的帮助下理解故事的主要内容并能朗读本单元小故事。

学习重点：理解并认读词汇： ne, tw, three, fur, five, bird, egg, nest, flwer；询问数量的句型：hw many …are they? There are/ There is….
学习难点： There are和there is的区别；there are 和they are的区别。
