Reading for Pleasure UFOs教学设计一、教学内容与整体设计分析 教学内容:这是一个关于UFO的阅读语篇,主要是大部分人对UFO的一些认识,以及三个关于UFO 的小故事。出现的生疏词汇比较多,例如creature, unidentified 等。 整体设计抓住故事的主题,围绕UFO引导学生图文结合开始猜测,学习词汇并且了解故事情节。利用悬念与猜测,在师生共同探讨中激发思维。通过填词、巧设疑问句和任务设置等方法,让学生读故事和观看视频获取信息。通过猜测“What do you think?”,鼓励学生用已有语言自由表达观点和思想,并在教师引导下开展简单的辩论赛。二、学情分析授课对象为六年级学生,他们具备了一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力。整体而言,六年级学生的英语阅读体验多为教材中的对话,而对于长篇内容的故事较少接触。尤其我所教授的对象为农村小学,对英文故事类型课外阅读的体验比较有限。由于Reading for Pleasure中的词汇量比较难,结合图片的观察与猜测,学生在一定的操练之后,能够理解并读懂该故事文本大意,但是对文中的细节会有些偏差。尽管是六年级的学生,大胆开口提出猜测和设想,会有一定的难度。三、教学重点和难点 教学重点:能够读懂并理解故事大意。 教学难点:猜测单词意思,大胆提出设想,发展阅读技能,以及复述故事。四、教学目标 语言能力目标(1) 能了解故事大意,获取故事的基本信息。(2) 能基本运用故事中出现的词汇正确地运用。2. 语言技能目标(1) 能听懂和流利地说出故事中的生词和短语。(2) 能阅读故事,并在阅读后运用关键词用自己的语言谈谈故事。3. 学习策略目标(1) 通过猜测、小组合作等方式激活思维,提升自主学习能力,培养英语思维能力。(2) 培养联想、归纳、推测的思维能力。4.情感态度目标(1) 学生在阅读故事的过程中享受阅读,乐于阅读故事内容,为今后进一步的阅读打好基础。(2) 培养学生积极探索宇宙,发现未知领域的教育。5.文化意识目标了解宇宙的构成,能对宇宙中未知的奥秘充满好奇心。五、教学过程Teaching Steps:I.GreetingsHello,boys and girls.Good morning.II.
