教学目标:
一、Knowledge aims 知识目标:
1. 学生能在语境中学习理解并运用本课的核心词汇:people, themselves, women, follow, come over, lots of。
2. 学生能听懂、会说本课重点句型:Some women are singing Beijing Opera under the tree. Some people are doing taijiquan near the lake. They are having lots of fun.
二、Ability aim 能力目标:
1.通过本课的学习学生能运用现在进行时的陈述句形式描述他人正在进行的活动。
2.学习文本的同时学习阅读策略,提高阅读兴趣。
三、Culture aim 情感目标:
通过本节课的文化渗透,使学生能感知京剧、太极拳等中国传统文化的博大精深,同时体会社区生活的丰富多彩,进而激发学生热爱社区、热爱生活的积极情感。
教学重难点:
本课时的教学重点、难点:学生能够运用本节课所学知识正确描述他人正在进行的活动。
教学准备:
教学课件、单词卡、拓展阅读资料等。
教学过程:
1. Pre-reading
1)Greetings
2)Game: Super Brain
T: First, let’s play a game: Super Brain. Look at this map. Here is our school. There are many neighbourhoods around it. Do you know them? Let’s have a look.
学生看地图,猜社区名字
T: Wow, there are so many neighbourhoods around our school. Maybe you live in these neighbourhoods.
T: Who lives in Baofa Neighbourhood / Jindi Neighbourhood?
3)T: Maye you can find your neighbor in our class. What about our new friend Andy? Who is Andy’s neighbor in China?
Ss: Li Ming.
T: Yes. And Li Ming shows Andy around the neighbourhood.
[设计意图]在阅读前,运用学生生活中所熟知的社区来营造主题氛围,复现旧知进而引导学生复习1、2课内容,为While-reading做好准备。
2. While-reading
1)T: Where are they now? Can you guess?
Ss: They are in the …
T: Ok, please read the text quickly and answer.
T: Look, they are in the park. And they look very happy.
[设计意图]让学生先预测文本,引导学生初步整体感知文本进而理清文章的脉络关系。
2)T: Look at the first picture, can you ask some questions about it? You can use when/ who/ what? Talk with your partners.
T: Let’s have a summary. It’s Sunday morning. There are many people in the park. They are enjoying themselves.
讲解enjoy themselves.
单个提问并将句子在其他语境中拓展练习。
[设计意图]看图1,让学生根据图片主动提问,培养学生的提问意识和读图的能力。
3)T: People are enjoying themselves. What are the women doing under the tree? Read picture 2 carefully and underline the answers.
问题中教授单词women。
Ss:学生阅读画出答案并回答。
T:Beijing Opera is a traditional Chinese art. In people’s park of Huantai, People are singing Beijing Opera. Let’s have a look.
播放公园内唱京剧视频,弘扬中国传统文化。
T:Children. Chinese people like Beijing Opera. And some foreigners also like Beijing Opera. Look, Jenny tries to follow them.
教读新单词follow。Can you have a try?
学生模仿文中唱京剧动作,在真实语境中操练He/ She tries to follow them.
T: Children, Beijing Opera is our treasure. We should love it and carry forward.
[设计意图]学生细读第二幅图片,划出问题答案。在阅读中学习新单词follow后,在真实情境下操练重点句型并在阅读中渗透京剧文化,培养学生的文化意识。
4)T: Jenny likes Beijing Opera. What about Andy? Andy likes….
学生看图
Ss: Taijiquan and kung fu.
T: Where are the people doing taijiquan? What is Andy doing? Read picture 3 and 4, then choose.
[设计意图]引导学生细读第三、四幅图,选择,并对答案进行分析,捕获文本的细节信息。
T:Do you know? Taijiquan is also a kind of kung fu. Bu it’s gentle and slow. Every morning, people do taijiquan in Shaohai Park. Taijiquan is good for our health.

3. After-reading
1)Listen and imitate

3)A little reporter!
T:In our Sports Center, there are many people. They are enjoying themselves. Now you are a little reporter. Can you describe them?
[设计意图]学生在图片和文字支架帮助下尝试做小小解说员,介绍文体中心人们正在做的活动,提升学生的口语表达能力。
4)Read and write.
T:Children, in our books, there is a beautiful park and a happy neighbourhood. And in our life, we have a very big and beautiful park, too. Look! 欣赏图片

Ss: The Honglianhu Park.
T: Do you like it? My friend Nancy likes it , too. She lives in Jinzhou Neighbourhood. It’s near the Honglianhu Park. She writes an article about the park. Let’s read and write the answers.
T:Talk the answers in your groups.
