Save Our Eyesight

70% of teenagers have poor eyesight in our country. What has caused this problem? The main reason is the bad habits of using eyes. For example, many of us write in wrong postures and read in wrong positions, such as on the bed or on a moving bus. Besides, reading in too strong or too weak light can also cause poor eyesight. What's more, some of us spend too much time playing computer games or watching TV. It's bad for our eyes. So how can we protect our eyes? Here is some advice on how to protect our eyes.

First, we should eat more food that is good for our eyes, such as carrots, eggs and so on.

Second, do more outdoor sports which will help us keep good eyesight. After reading for a long time, we had better have a rest by looking at the plants in the distance.

Finally, using less electronic products is a good way to protect our eyes. And remember to do eye-protecting exercises every day.

There are a number of animals living on the earth and they should have a place here just like humans. To protect small animals, like ducks, cats and birds, a group named Clinic 212 made some small road signs. The idea for small road signs came to Marcus, a member of Clinic212, when he was taking a taxi home at night. He saw a little animal walking across the street. Can astronauts exercise when they are in space station in their spare time? You may think it’s difficult for them to do fun things in space, because there’s no enough place. However, for the astronauts of Shenzhou XIII, it’s not a problem anymore. A video from the station in November, 2021 showed Zhai Zhigang practiced tai chi on the Tiangong -1 space lab module with beautiful movements. Actually, it was not the first time that Chinese astronauts practiced tai chi in space. The tradition of it started in 2012, the astronaut Liu Yang first did so and she said she had a comfortable experience. Playing tai chi is not the only way for astronauts to relax and exercise. They can also play ping-pong with each other, ride a bike which can’t be moved with hands or feet, and they can even run on a special machine. All of these not only help them keep healthy but also make it possible to work well in the long period .
